Everyone knows how it feels to be hurt by a family member or close friend. Our normal response is to hurt back. This will always lead to family drama. Joseph had every right to hurt his brothers for what they did to him. He believed three truths that enabled him to forgive. When we choose to drop the rope, we take a step towards forgiving others.

How do you respond when you feel unloved by a family member? We can become aggressive, uncaring, or detached from people who “should” show us love but don’t. We may attempt to fill that inner-emptiness with love from another person, only to realize we are still hurting.
