Khabib Nurmagomedov has boldly stated that gives the UFC an ultimatum. USADA has given Nate Diaz an open warning following his use of CBD oil in a post fight interview. Josh Samman has tragically passed away at 28 and UFC cancels Fight Night 97.

Metal news was sparse this week; Helmet have released a new song, announced and album, and announced a UK tour with Local H. Sylosis are going on hiatus following guitarist Josh Middleton touring with Architects.  Tool has sent a newsletter telling people to stop asking them about their new album but is somehow 8 paragraphs long.

MMA

Recapping Fight Night 95 and predicting the upcoming UFC 204.  Venus, Serena Williams, Tom Brady and more become investors in UFC.  Ronda Rousey openly admits that she “Absolutely” wants to fight Cris Cyborg.  Jose Aldo has requested to be released from the UFC as he looks to retire from fighting and on a less exciting note, Josh Samman is still in a coma after being found unresponsive a few days ago in his apartment in Florida.

The summer of returns continues as The Number Twelve Looks Like You announce comeback, new album and tours. As one comes, another goes; Sylosis go on temporary hiatus. Vinnie Paul openly states that Phil Anselmo ruined the image of Pantera.  Suicide Silence  played a new songs at Knotfest last weekend titled ‘Doris’  and we finally get an album update from Messhugah on Tool’s new album.

Main Even this week is Milwaukee metal band, H1N1.

Who doesn’t love a good set of Bongos?! We likely talk a lot about guys and metal fans favorite topic: Bongos!

Lineker vs Dodson

We are deep diving into Fight Night 95 and discuss Roy Nelson potentially being fined for kicking a reg, Felders eye cut and we preview this weekends upcoming fight. Ken most likely talks about how much he loves Jon Jones, Nate reminds him of why he is wrong. The world keep spinning.

Tim Lambesis is suing for $35 million because he developed titties. Max Cavalera feels he shouldn’t have left Sepultura, Iron Maidens masks and a lot of new music. Ken talks all things hesh, Nate covers the releases from a year ago.

This week our main event comes from up and coming Milwaukee metal band, Archiver and their song 1957.

We can argue that Getting Old is part of life, it’s just how we handle it that makes us who we are.  Matt Stein likes to think that even though he just turned 31 that he is still 21, not sleeping on a fitting bed for 2 days has broken his brain and now you can listen to the after effects!

Cyborg vs Lansberg

Last weekend saw its fair share of knockouts, but the majority of fights went to a decision which is enough to make any fight fan’s mouth water.  Listen in to hear about our thoughts on last weekends Fight Night 94 and Bellator 161 cards and their outcomes.

The fight rumor mill is a buzz with potential high dollar fights for upcoming fights, including UFC 205. Previously discussed fighter, Chael Sonen makes a ballsy move by signing with Bellator as well, curious what these guys thin? Then stop reading and starting listening!

Slipknot among the latest to meet gold status for their album, .5 The Gray Chapter. Chino Moreno, front man of the Deftones opens up about his earlier drug addiction and the shelved “Eros” album. Supergroup, Serpentine Dominion, have released another new song titled, On The Brink of Devastation. Metallica and Pantera have released new books cataloging portions of their history.  Our main event honors the now defunct Milwaukee metal band, Wolves.

Matt Stein’s German heritage comes out when he admits he has a love and desire for beer and Sausage.  When Matt tries to justify that a band climbing a mountain to raise money, Nate Forcey accuses him of being a Nazi.

The UFC Heavyweight division continues to bedazzle us as much as it puzzles. We have a heavyweight champion who has finally made a successful title defense. But does anyone feel confident in its stability? We cannot trust a cage fighting division that is not more deodorized today than it was yesterday.

But we can be entertained by it, and Stipe Miocic vs. Alistair Overeem certainly qualified.

Through a beer goggle prism, and a few sausages later,  the fight resembled a demolition derby of overweight dispute. I feel like the abyss is still staring back at us in some ways. After all, Overeem would have made for a great champion. But then if he can’t even qualify as a contender, what merit does that statement even have? Why can’t I give Stipe enough credit? That’s precisely what this week’s episode is here to find out.

New music alert! Poison Headache release new music video for the song Rot With Me. Bring me the Horizon, climb a mountain for charity; and we bid Abiotic a farewell.  For this week’s main event, we slow things down with Lawrence, KS doom metal ultra studs, Amenaza.  We are featuring their song, Each Footstep is a Lesion.

This week Matt gives Nathan and Ken the week off to really soak up the sun. It’s Summer Vacation and that means Beer, Brats and more Beer!  Seriously.
