Comic news-

Mark Waid and Chris Samnee will be writing Captain America after this turd of Secret Empire comes to a close ( thank Odin ).  Love Waid Samnee work on Black Widow and Daredevil, so I'm extra Pumped for this one!  They say they will be" getting Cap back to Basics", Well they have their work cut out for them after the shit Nick Spencer has done to the character.  

The DC Rebirth Panel announced that Frank Miller and John Romtia Jr will Doing a Superman: Year One story. Not many details giving but lets keep our fingers together that Miller and Romita can capture some of the magic they have given us in the past.  DK3.....I'm still trying to forget. 

Movie News

Infintiy War trailer leaked.  Footage was awful looking due to it being on a cell phone, BUT we did get to see Thor interact with The Guardians of the Galaxy so that in its self was worth it.  Plus we see ( dare i say it?! ) Cap with a BEARD!!  Yep, you know i came all over myself on that one guys!  This movie can't get here fast enough

Thor Ragnarok trailer- You kidding me?  Your gonna have to listen to the podcast for a my juicey bits on this puppy.

Spawn is gonna be a Movie ( again ) !  But wait!! Before you high five your buddies that remember the Image hey days, I need to tell who is directing it first....YOU GOTTA LISTEN TO THE PODCAST BITCHES!!  ( Plus im running out of characters on Blog Talk ).

In Movies news i talk about the Massive Dropoff for Spiderman 2 Homecoming at the box office in its second week.  Or is it as bad as it sounds?  

SDCC starts this week!! Shit is about to CRAY!  Toys companies are already previewing their new line ups and I'm sure movie trailers will be dropping like Dollar bills at a strip joint!  Cant wait! 

Comics on Review this week are

Shirtless Bear-Fighter 1 - Think the story of John Matrix in Commando but put a Shirtless bear fighter fighting mutant bears! Take your money right?!  BDR Score- 8.0

Old Man Logan 26-  Logan is hunting down the Hulk gang led by Mastero, or is he being hunted?  If you love violent Wolverine ( I know i do!) you'll love this book.  Oh, it looks gorgeous also.  Mike Deadato is killing it here. BDR Score 8.5

Darth Vader 3- Who can whip Vader you ask?  How about a Jedi that has taken a self banishment from the Order waiting to find his true path as a Jedi?  You are hooked already.  I can smell your excitment.  BDR PICK OF THE WEEK- 9.0

Movie news-Meatheads on Movies wonder woman ep is on itunes!  Please subscribe and leave a 5* review

Rumor mill running rampant on The money Gal Gadot made for WW.  They made a big deal over Henry Cavhill getting 14 million for MoS.  Not true . They made roughly 300k for each movie.  Money on the backend may have got Cavhill there so Gadot will get there also maybe even more.This whole thing stemmed from a article in Elle siting the gap in salaries for gender in hollywood.  This kind of attention doesn't help the argument.

Which leads to the leaked script of Joss Whedon’s WW.  I haven't read it but its not good apparently ( defended Joss and all he's done for women.)

Because Blazing D and Big ( Mutha Fuckin ) Sam are back to get YOU caught up on everything In the world of Nerd movies.  We are talking about our Thoughts on Wonder Woman to start our show.  What we loved and ( believe it or not ) didnt love.  There has been a lot talk about Big Bad Venom coming to the MCU.  Big Sam and I share some much needed light on the shit.  I also get my Dark Knight detective skills on and find out why the Hell Disney fired the directors of Han Solo with 2 weeks before production wraps up.  We talk Spider-Man Homecoming and The Batman movie as well.

The Meatheads are back to give their comic book perspective on the Iron Fist Netflix Series.  Sam and i have over 60 years of Comic book experince ( Yeah I know, we are old! ).  We usually try to focus on the positive aspects of our review but with this shiney turd Marvel has thrown at us, it was really hard to do.

In this episode we  talk about the differences from the comic book character then the one portrayed by Vinn Jones.  We provide some comic history on the actual villians of the city of Kun Lun acually had in the comics as opposed to the ones in this series.  We also talked about what did work, and how they just missed on some amazing opportunities.  

My listeners also get a chance to voice their opinion since this was recorded on Facebook Live, and some acually defend why they liked it!  So kick back, take a break from all the other nonsense on the interwebs and enjoy the mayhem that only the Meatheads on Movies crew can give you!  Enjoy!
