Garrett Mitchell is in Milwaukee and Christian Yelich is hitting like it's 2018. Is it enough to help propel the Brewers past September and into the postseason? Tim Shea and Kevin Holden have no idea, but they have fun talking about it.
The Brewers started bouncing back from the "low" feelings after the Josh Hader trade... they swept the Tampa Bay Rays, setting up a weekend battle for first place in the NL Central with a familiar feel. Kevin Holden sets up Brewers vs. Cardinals, and he looks back at visits this past weekend from the 1982 and 2011 Brewers that may have helped these current Brewers come together as the chase for the playoffs heats up.
Josh Hader has been traded, and the Brewers moves surrounding the trade deadline lead to some angst and some understanding of the business of baseball. Is it time to start going all-in more often? A lot of layers as the Brewers hit August... but Freddy Peralta is back!
It's the first episode of Bleav In Brewers. Kevin Holden discusses the team's offensive outburst against the Rockies (Hunter Renfroe wore a cape for most of the series), and the gritty performance in a two game sweep against the Twins. Luis Urias may be cementing the third base job past the trade deadline. Speaking of trades, is getting Ramon Laureano a good idea? Is trading Josh Hader right now a bad idea? It's all here!
