When it comes to tournament time, teams need to live in the moment. It’s tempting to dwell on past glories or future possibilities, but the truth is that you can only control what’s happening right now. The USA needs to recognize the moment and stop living in the past, putting the best team out there.
To be successful in the game and in life, it’s all about taking responsibility for our choices and being clear on healthy boundaries. This requires strong focus and discipline to ensure that you’re not getting drawn in a thousand different directions but instead, finding clarity and direction in who or what you are responsible for.
