There were anxious moments throughout a lot of La Familia's TBT three-game series against The Ville. But at the end of the day, when it was time for somebody to lose, The Ville had to go. The roster was in flux from the get go. Archie Goodwin made it back and was able to play. There was a lot of back and forth and questions about his commitment and deservedly so.

So it was only fitting that he hit the jumper to seal it. Can't be losing an elimination game at home to Louisville.

We also talked about who UK was watching at Peach Jam and Will Stein's first SEC Media Days + plus outsider's perception of Kentucky.

Things got a little tight but La Familia was able to defend home court against The Ville in game one of their best of three series in the TBT (The Basketball Tournament).

The roster construction was adventurous but the squad came together nicely and regained their poise down the stretch to grab a 72-68 victory over the former Cards. Key contributions from Sean McNeil, James Mainor-Bell and Darryl Morsell, guys who didn't play for Kentucky, were crucial to the squad's success.

Congrats to Ron Mercer and Tubby Smith on their Hall of Fame Inductions.
