Host John Lund talks about Jeff Brohm's decision to turn down any other offers and come back for the 2026 football season, and Arkansas handing men's hoops their first loss, along withwhat head coach Pat Kelsey had to say about it.

It had been an uneasy time for football fans this week, with Coach Brohm's name on the hot stove to possibly take the open Penn State job, but he put those rumors to bed on Wednesday after addressing the media about how the team fared in signing day.

Also, a tough game for the Cardinals at Arkansas as part of the ACC/SEC challenge, just one of those games where you could tell they didn't have it and weren't able claw back in the end. Louisville lost the rebounding battle, points off turnovers and the bench, and to make matters worse, once again lost at the hands of John Calipari.

Host John Lund recaps Louisville's 41-0 win over rival Kentucky in an absolute beatdown to end the season on a high note. With a shell of its offense and plenty of guys playing hurt, the Cardinals put together their best game of the year for the largest defeat in the history of the Governor's Cup, so bad that Kentucky fired Mark Stoops just days later. It was a great way for Miller Moss and the defense to end their seasons, and yet another bright spot for Louisville's running game. While it doesn't make up for all the losses in November, it sure felt good for Cardinal Nation to sweep the basketball and football games for the first time since 2012-13 and Jeff Brohm's third consecutive season with at least eight wins.

Host John Lund recaps Louisville's 87-46 home win over Eastern Michigan on Monday night and what head coach Pat Kelsey had to say about it. It took a little time for the Louisville offense to get doing but the defense came ready to play from the tip, limiting the Eagles to just four points in the first 11 minutes and 17 in the first half. The bench provided spark after spark, dropping 37 points and giving Coach Kelce a better idea of whom can play where and when. Adrian Wooley and Khani Rooths chipped in 9 and 7 points respectively and added 12 total boards, while Aly Khalifa put on an offensive and defensive show for a 6-0 start for the first time since 2019.

It was the worst loss in the Jeff Brohm era and worst for the Cardinals in this decade. A freshman quarterback making his first start with not much trust, countless injuries, and a defense that had all but given up by the end of the game... It was a recipe for disaster against the Mustangs, and leaves more questions than answer for the season finale against rival Kentucky.

Host John Lund recaps Louisville's second half comeback to beat Cincinnati, 74-64, on Friday night to remain unbeaten. After the Bearcats clamped down on the Cardinals offense in the first half to head into halftime with a four-point lead, UofL battled back. Fueled by Ryan Conwell's 17 second half points en route to his best game with Louisville and a game-high 25 points, along with a five-point sequence from freshman Mikel Brown Jr. to seal the win, the Cards improved to 5-0 and showed they can win in different ways.

In football, it'll be a new look offense, with quarterback Miller Moss expected to miss the game and freshman Deuce Adams getting his first career start in his place, also without Louisville's two best running backs behind him. In hoops, Louisville responded to Cincinnati's tough first half defense with senior Ryan Conwell and freshman Mikel Brown Jr. taking over in the second half to lead the Cardinals on the comeback to remain unbeaten.
