There's so much stigma when it comes to therapy.  In this episode we share our experience both with per-marital counseling and post wedding marriage therapy (we've done both).  Turns out we have very different views on how helpful both were and are in regard to our #blendedfamily life, per usual lol.  But, before we dive into that topic, we deal with the mess we spilled at the end of our last episode.  We open up about how children, and more specifically our relationship with our children, can cause marital challenges.  The question comes up, can children really come between spouses?  This right here seems to be a trending topic among blended family and step parenting support groups.  Kids certainly do get a bad wrap when it comes to destroyed blended family marriages, but is that fair?  We answer this very question.  Another question we get to is does #marriagecounseling really help, or does it just create problems?  What is the value of confronting tough issues with a third party present?  Does shared life experience matter when it comes to #choosingyourtherapist?  All very interesting things to discuss it turns out.  And not to disappoint, we give our audience a pretty real look at what goes on in our sessions and in our marriage.  Enjoy!
