We just got back from a little getaway without one of the kids.  Have you ever had to reconsider how you do blended family vacations?  Is it okay to leave someone behind and make memories with different sets of people within your blended family?  Are vacations tough in general to maneuver for you?  How do you set your family up for the best vacation possible? We break it all down for you and discuss how it went our first time out without all the kids in tow.  Blending a family is hard, no doubt, and we all have been stuck wondering how to even blend our families together may times over; it’s no short order.  Coming together as a blended family is all about getting on the same page, but how do you get on the same page with your spouse without overstepping boundaries?  How do you talk to and discipline your step kids without stepping on your spouses toes?  We discuss what we have learned, and are still working on, in that department.  Speaking of boundaries, how do you decided if you should allow your child to not go to their other parent’s home if they don’t want to?  This is so hard!  Does age play a role when deciding to let your kids stay with you instead of going to their other biological parent’s home when they absolutely don’t want to?  And lastly, how do you deal with jealousy and insecurities when your spouses’ past is still displayed on social media?  Should you go down the rabbit hole of logging onto your spouses accounts and digging for information?  EEK, we totally address this one head on!  Enjoy!
