Bless Dem Boyz

It was a week of divergent results for Dem Boyz’ teams. TheSaints went up to the Big Apple and took a bite out of the Giants, but not before almost choking the game away. Meanwhile, the Cowboys could not get the offense going once again up in Green Bay. Plus other week 6 action, including alaugh at the NFC Least; a Titan-ic upset and a firing; first-place Browns; and the Rodgers/McCarthy reunion tour.

After that, Dem Boyz get you ready for week 7 with theirpicks and previews, and close out the show with reviews of a few Denzel movies and Undertone, as well as a recap of the end of White Lotus season 3.

With Brandon the Cowboys Fan out on a work assignment, Paul the Saints Fan fills in with a solo show, recapping the week 5 action, getting you ready for week 6, and talking about how terrible both their teams are.

Things went in opposite directions for Dem Boyz in Week 4. First, the Cowboys capped off a 4th-quarter comeback against the Texans with a TD to CeeDee Lamb on his 17th (!!!) reception of the game. In New Orleans, things went poorly for the Saints on the 20th anniversary of the Domecoming, as the Falcons ran roughshod over Kellen Moore's unprepared team. Paul was not happy about it. Listener Donnie the Broncos Fan was also let than thrilled with his team's performance against the 49ers.

In non-football news, Dem Boyz also made it out to the movies to see Primetime with Robert Pattinson as Chris Hansen, which gets two thumbs up from our amateur critics. Then we close out the show with Paul's catchup on the Denzel challenge.

Well, Dem Boyz are back to losing. The Saints have a tough fourth quarter against the Raiders. Meanwhile, in Brazil, the Cowboys kept the game close with the Ravens but made some boneheaded moves in the closing seconds to blow their chance at a win.

With week two in the books, both our hosts' teams sit at one and one, with the Cowboys holding off the Commanders and the Saints pulling off a second-half comeback against the Ravens.

Week one is in the books, and while both of our hosts' teams lost, one is feeling much better about their results than the other. Paul the Saints Fan is happy the Saints were able to get back in the game, while Brandon the Cowboys Fan wonders if Christian Parker is actually Matt Eberflus in disguise.

Plus more action from around the league. Madison Beer is the only thing about the Chargers that looked good; the Titans are still bad; the Bears offense looks good but their defense is not; and Brandon won some prop bets.

Football is back! Dem Boyz finally have actual games to preview. They go through each matchup and make their picks against the spread and confidence calls.

Plus they talk about soccer games they watched, the Mourinho documentary, and some upcoming films they're excited to see. Get in!

Just over a week away from the season kicking off, Dem Boyz gather to make their picks for the season. The division previews have been completed. Now? They have to choose who they think will win the divisions, who makes the playoffs, and who takes home the hardware, both individual and team.

Then they cap off the division preview series by heading out west. In the AFC, the question remains of whether or not the addition of Jaylen Waddle is enough to keep the Broncos on top of the heap. The Chargers made the playoffs last year, but they continue to come up short in the postseason. Meanwhile the Chiefs are just looking to make it back to the tournament, and the Raiders... well, they have a new coach, a new QB, and a Maxx Crosby who might be looking for a way out.

On the NFC side of the ledger, we have the reigning champs, who will have to stave off an improved Rams team that added the best defensive player in football and might be bringing back Aaron Donald. The 49ers are being beset by substations and sting operations, and the Cardinals are just trying to be better than the Dolphins.

All that, plus an absolute ton of soccer coverage.

The divisional previews move out East. On the AFC side ofthings, the defending conference champion Patriots try to prove they’re notpathetic posers. Meanwhile, the Bills look to take back their crown. And theJets and Dolphins… well, they’ll definitely be participating this season, too.

Meanwhile, in the NFC East, things are shaping up foranother showdown between Boys and Birds. The Giants feel hopeful with a newhead coach, but they also hired Matt Nagy. Meanwhile, the Commanders appear tobe more concerned with number theory at the moment. Maybe Sunny Styles willsave them!
