Bless Dem Boyz

The division previews roll on. This week, Dem Boyz talk about the AFC and NFC South. Will the Jaguars manage to defend their crown, or will the Texans get enough out of their offense to win the division? How will Daniel Jones look after coming back from a torn Achilles? And will the Titans be respectable?

In the NFC, it's a mess. Everyone is bad. Paul the Saints Fan thinks people need to stop being optimistic, thank you very much. Meanwhile after a 3-way tie, it's anyone's division to win. Could the Bucs get back to their winning ways with Todd Bowles? Who will lead the Falcons? Or will Bryce Young build on last season to defend their title?

As the first NFL "game" of the year kicks off, Dem Boyz also kick off their divisional previews. First they head North. Will the Ravens take back the division, or will Joe Burrow finally have a competent defense playing behind him? What about the Rodgers/McCarthy reunion? Will Cleveland be better than total BUTT?

In the NFC, can the Bears prevent the regression? Will the Lions overcome the injuries and kidnapping arrests that have decimated their secondary? Will Jordan Love stop doing dumb things? And how will short guy Kyler Murray look in a Kevin O'Connell offense?

All that, plus some talk about Denzel movies and excitement for the upcoming Rob Pattinson performance in Primetime.

Dem Boyz are back. Having both watched The Odyssey, they have some TAKES. Paul the Saints Fan called it one of his favorite Nolan movies, while Brandon the Cowboys Fan was a little less impressed.

And in the football world, training camps for all 32 teams have started. Dem Boyz break down the early news for their respective teams and talk about the LeBron to Philly news before closing out the show.

After going on their own (2 week) Odyssey, Dem Boyz return, and this one is heavy in talk of Ancient Greek history, including talk about the Odyssey, the Iliad, and the Aeneid as they get ready to watch Christopher Nolan's epic 2026 film in theaters.

Plus they talk about what else they've been watching. They talk World Cup, and Paul the Saints Fan becomes Paul the Liverpool Fan; they talk about how bad the AL West is; and they discuss some Denzel movies and the Lost series.

With the wife and kids away, Brandon the Cowboys Fan set up some time for films, including The Substance, Y Tu Mama Tambien, and the final Jackass film. Paul the Saints Fan, on the other hand, just managed to get through this week's Denzel challenge.

After film talk, Dem Boyz take a look at the trades made in the NBA, some MLB talk, and all the goings on at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. USA! USA! USA!

It's a watch along! Well, sort of. While discussing other topics, Dem Boyz also keep tabs on the NBA draft, which included Brandon's Grizzlies selecting Cam Boozer third overall and Paul's Mavs taking Morez Johnson Jr. ninth.

Meanwhile, Brandon recounts his trip to the World Cup match between Holland and Sweden; Paul hits the halfway point in his Denzel challenge; and the Brandon Sorsby ruling was quite the rebuke of the former Red Raider.

There's nothing more American than pie, and on this week's "pi" episode, Dem Boyz spend some time talking American Soccer and their dominating performance over Paraguay. Plus: Europeans discover Buccee's and the big yellow buses; John Q and the American healthcare system; Uncle Leo in a western movie; the upcoming Jackass movie gets a preview; and a review of the Iliad (and the first quarter of the Odyssey).

Oh, there's a little NFL talk as well, with news out of Saints and Cowboys mini-camps, all finished off with an Immaculate Grid.

There isn't much to talk about on the gridiron, so Dem Boyz turn their attention to the hardwood, where their pick last week for Knicks in 6 is still alive. Plus movie and TV talk, a live 82-0 attempt, and an Immaculate Grid contest. Check it out!

There were two big deals made in the NFL this week, with Mike Vrabel's team finally consummating the AJ Brown trade. Meanwhile, in the NFC West, the Rams improved their already league-leading Super Bowl odds by adding two-time DPOY Myles Garrett.

It's watch along time! Dem Boyz gather to watch the 2026 Scripps National Spelling Bee. Brandon the Cowboys Fan debuts the live version of BEELO, and they watch as spellers are eliminated and the odds change. They attempt to spell the words (to very little success) and cheer on their chosen candidates.

It's a great Bee that goes down to a record-setting spell off, and Dem Boyz have plenty of fun along the way.
