A lot of us know 1 chronicle 4 verse 9to10 about the prayer that Jabez prayed we don't know how long Jabez suffered but we know he had enough and cryed out in prayed to God because of the Label is mother put on him because of her Labour pain. The transfiguration of jesus Matthew 17 verse 1-9. I heard someone say why did God choose moses and ELijah to come on the mountain with jesus. Someone may say why did God choose us. We may be asking the same question. But noone can tell God what to do and we are to be thankful for that. Stop calling gifts that people have given you Tokens. Because when call them tokens. You are saying it wasnot the real thing. When someone gives you a gift no matter what you may think of it cost them something. It could be the gift of a word. Some money that may leave them with less to do what they need to do for themselves. But you see it has having no value. Sometimes the beggar or the homeless person shows more gratitude and they are getting less than you. If our attuide can stop people. From wanting to give to us. Just image what God could be holding back because of our lack of gratitude. Gratitude means the guality of being thankful readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness. What does our attuide return to people who give us gifts does it make them want to give us again or say that person is so ungrateful i will never give them a gift again. 1 chronicle 14. says David was in a place where his family was enlarged. He was still fighting the philistines. After he became king and was still asking directions from God. That he didnot fight battles that he couldn't win. Some of the battles we are choosing to fight in life are some God hasnot called us to fight. And we are losing they are distracting us from things and people God really wants to be around. Because we are thinking. culturally minded instead of thinking Kingdom minded and we are wasting our time and emotions. I remember a while ago my son brought me two cactus plants. I put them on my tv table and kept watering them for maybe weeks or months until one day I looked at them and saw they were not real they were still taking in the water but God opened my eyes to see they were fake when my son gave me them i never asked him about them he just saw them and Brought them for me and i liked them but what i thought they were they were not and that is how if is with some people and things in our life we keep feeding fake things and letting real things die over feeding enemies and our friends have nothing there are times we have to ask God to open our eyes to what is real and let go of people who are pretending to be real when they are fake there is a time and season for everything have a blessed day everyone. I was watching something from the football match last night and i saw a English footballer give his number 10 shirt to a young girl in the crowd she was also wearing a number 10 shirt it made her day she was crying in her fathers arms. And it made me see wherever we are God will find us to give us a blessing. This young girl will remember this for the rest of her life and God is looking to bless us in that way too if we just have faith and trust him. I don't think that young girl thought she would be going home with a team shirt but God is able to do anything according to is will and purpose for our life don't give up no matter how hard you think it may be God is faithful. I heard a sermon written by Bishop Jc Ryle in the 1900 in England where he spoke about counterfeit Christianity. Where people are having a form of Christianity with no fruits or sign of the holy spirit their hearts are far from God they don't hate what he hates or love what he loves they just put on the Christian Label Saturday or Sunday and that maybe the only day they read the bible. Because there heart are far from God. They cause division in the faith and that is what the methodist did last week when they voted to change marriage to what the world wants it to be and have said they won't force anyone to perform these marriages if they are not comfortable doing them. But has anyone taken into account what the head of the church which is jesus thinks. or does it not matter has long has their children can come to there church and get married regardless of what the Bible forbids. Which is the reason why some of them gave to change the church rule. that there children can come to church and know God loves them . Who doesn't know God loves them even when i was living in sin i still knew God loves me we can't compromise the word of God to fit our children's Lifestyle no matter how we love them because we don't want them to go to hell. Someone said when you work with real money all the time you get use to the feel of it and when. someone tries to give you a counterfeit you know it.
