Blind Girls' Book Talk

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  Today Belle has recommended that I read "Persuasion" by Jane Austen.  Since I've listened to the audiobook, I'm going to talk about my thoughts on the book.  SPOILER WARNING.

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  Today Belle and I have been given the opportunity to read and briefly discuss a book before it is released.  We also got the chance to ask the author of the book some questions.  The book is called "The Star and The Strange Moon" by Constance Sayers.  The book will be released on November 14, 2023 and I definitely recommend this book.  We hope you enjoy this episode and a big thank you to Constance Sayers and anyone else involved for giving us this opportunity.

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  Today Belle is ranking some of her favorite (and not so favorite) fictional men in a tier list.  If you want to play at home, the tiers are:
Somebody Make Him Real
I'd Go On a Date And See What Happens
He's Alright But There Could Be Improvement
I'll Pass
Immediately No

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  In honor of Halloween coming up, we are going to do another bad retelling of Poe short stories.  The stories we will cover this time are "Shadow - A Parable", "Silence - A Fable", "Never Bet The Devil Your Head", "Masque of the Read Death", and "Hop Frog".  As always SPOILER WARNING and CONTENT WARNING.  Poe stories are dark and even though we try not to go too deep into the stories, there are still dark themes.

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  Today Belle and I are talking about that books that made us feel some type of way be it embarrassed, sad, strange, or happy.  Pardon the random Piper noises in the background.  She was being very noisy in the recording room.

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  Today I am alone in the recording room, but I'm going to talk about Mary Shelley and her life.  I found out some interesting things in the research for this one.

Hello fellow ink drinkers!  With Belle feeling under the weather and realizing we have talked a lot about our favorite series in this podcast, we have decided to change things up.  This is just a random bookish conversation about reading slumps and other random topics.
