Bitcoin moved down to the 20-day moving average, ETH declined from November 10th, and declined the ascending support line. BNB dove down from 662.90. Cardano plunged below the downline trend and moving averages. Solana plummeted to back to support lines, and is retaining due to large buyback support.

In other news, the Taproot soft fork launched yesterday (11-14-2021), this will improve the scripting capabilities and notably the privacy features of the Bitcoin network. The update focuses on an overall improvement and expansion of the Bitcoin network’s smart contract capabilities and additional privacy features.

These Bitcoin Improvement Proposals (BIP 340/341) seem to extend the operability of smart contracts and private transactions on the bitcoin network. Will we see more functional DeFi projects launch on the Bitcoin network? Will DeFi be an instigator of higher interoperability?

Bitcoin breaks all-time highs since April 14th, 2021 amidst ETF trading. Ethereum breaks all-time highs following the EIP-1559 which aims to reduce gas fees and made ETH a deflationary asset. Solana passed Cardano in market cap, some speculate it is due to their smart contracts and DeFi applications, and NFTs providing higher utility. Cardano has remained stable in price. BAT (Basic Attention Token) rose 25% following their announcement regarding integration onto the Solana Blockchain aside from Ethereum.

In other news, Tim Cook (Apple CEO) announced that he holds crypto, and many are speculating that other technology industry leaders also hold various crypto assets. Meanwhile, the CEO of Discord teases Metamask Integration.

At the same time, we observe a DAO-ifying of organizations. Mainly the ENS (Ethereum Name Service) creating a governance token and airdropping it to users has been a prime example of this.

So… are industry leaders owning crypto or are crypto holders starting to own the industry through DAOs.
