😶 Cointelegraph has reported that ARK Investment Management LLC buys Coinbase shares the same day SEC served a lawsuit. ARK Invest bought over 400,000 shares of Coinbase stock totalling more than $21 million on the day the SEC served the exchange with a lawsuit. The firm added approximately 419,324 shares of Coinbase Global Inc., which totals to a worth of nearly $21.6 million at the time of closing on the same day. also states that About a month prior, on May 2, ARK Invest added an additional 168,869 Coinbase shares, which then equalled around $8.5 million. The firm also made investments in March and April as well, of 2.4 million shares for about $117 million and 304,300 shares worth $17.5 million, respectively.

⚡ More info can be found here https://lnkd.in/dCibf9Ex We try to explain this in our podcast in easy to understand way. Essentially BRC-721E standard, lets people move their digital art from Ethereum to Bitcoin. This is done by “burning” the art on Ethereum, which means it can’t be used or changed anymore on Ethereum. After burning it, you can claim it on Bitcoin and it will be stored there with a lower-quality preview image and a reference
to the Ethereum burn. So basically, it’s a way to move and store your digital art on Bitcoin instead of Ethereum.

🚨 In summary, Bitcoin Ordinals offers a way to move Ethereum NFTs to the Bitcoin blockchain using the BRC-721E standard, allowing for decentralized storage of digital art with full metadata on the Bitcoin network.

The biggest threat to CDBC is Stablecoins & Centralized money transmitter protocols such as Ripple The Bank of Japan (BOJ) has released the results of the second phase of its central bank digital currency (CBDC) proof-of-concept (PoC) experiment and confirmed that its CBDC pilot project launched on schedule in April. The second-phase PoC ran for a year, from April 2022 to March 2023, and considered functions to complement the basic ledger functions tested in the first yearlong experiment. 🚨 Stably: A Dollar-Backed Stablecoin on Bitcoin Using Ordinals Protocol Bitcoin Ordinals is the new hype in 2023, Stably debuted Stably USD in 2019. It’s got a $7 million market capitalization across 11 blockchains, according to its April attestation.

The latest attestation report shows it’s got a market capitalization of $7 million across 11 different blockchains, including Ethereum, BNB Chain, and Arbitrum.
 

❗ Some more information
- U.S.-based Stably, which calls itself a fiat onramp for crypto trading, has announced its BRC-20 U.S. dollar-backed stablecoin on Twitter. But there are a few red flags.

- For starters, the total supply: $69.420 trillion, according to the company’s website. That’s more than double the U.S. national debt and likely a nod to meme culture. And things seem to be off to a slow start. Their documentation links to a reserve wallet with a $220 balance at the time of the article.

- While Stably claims its subsidiary, Stably Trading LLC, is a registered money transmitter, the registration number and address on their website don’t match what’s listed on the FinCEN website under “Stably Trading, LLC.”
