Anchored Coins, a fintech company located in Zug, Switzerland, issues AEUR. The company is affiliated with Verein zur Qualitätssicherung von Finanzdienstleistungen (VQF), a self-regulatory organization in Switzerland supported by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA. This association mandates compliance with Anti-Money Laundering obligations. The firm’s stablecoins are currently minted on Ethereum and BNB Smart Chain. Following a 200% surge in the price of AEUR, a stable currency, on Binance, decided to suspend trading. Users who bought AEUR at an inflated price and couldn’t sell it before the halt will be compensated. Binance committed to assisting the AEUR project team in providing reasonable compensation to affected users within 72 hours. The stablecoin’s surge led to confusion among users who were unaware of its stable nature.

🔴 The inaugural studio demo of Michael Jackson, titled “Big Boy (One-Derful Version),” is set to be released on the blockchain as a non-fungible token (NFT) via the music platform Anotherblock. Recorded in 1967 during an early studio session at One-Derful in Chicago, the track captures eight-year-old Michael Jackson with his brothers. According to Michel D. Traore, CEO and co-founder of anotherblock, this blockchain release aims to transform the song from a mere commodity to an elevated digital experience. As of December 4th, the campaign has confirmed the participation of Republican candidates Asa Hutchinson and Vivek Ramaswamy, along with Democratic candidate Dean Phillips. The event is scheduled to take place in New Hampshire on December 11th. Invitations were extended to other candidates, including former President Donald Trump, independent candidate Robert F. Through the use of satellite imagery, Forbes identified four secret locations. Bhutan’s monarch, King Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuck, has displayed a longstanding interest in cryptocurrency. He envisions that Bitcoin mining will play a pivotal role in averting economic crises for the remote and bio-diverse mountain nation, which is home to less than 800,000 people. ❗ As per local news sources, HSBC and Hang Seng Bank, both based in Hong Kong, along with Taiwanese bank Fubon Bank, have incorporated e-CNY integrations into their platforms. All four international banks are facilitating their clients with the capability to transfer and withdraw e-CNY. Notably, Hang Seng Bank is permitting its personal banking customers to link debit cards through the official e-CNY app, enabling the redemption of digital renminbi. Additionally, these customers can top up their digital renminbi wallet using the Hang Seng China Mobile Banking App. HSBC has also introduced similar functionalities, catering to the retail use of e-CNY for its clients.

- Important to note: Chinese digital yuan CBDC was used for the first time to settle a cross-border oil deal where PetroChina International purchased 1 million barrels of oil using the CBDC.

🔴 Philippines to sell $179M in tokenized treasury bonds for the first time The Philippines Bureau of the Treasury is opting for innovation by offering 10 billion pesos ($179 million) in tokenized one-year treasury bonds, in lieu of the initially planned traditional auction on November 20. These bonds, available to institutional buyers, come with a minimum denomination of 10 million pesos and increments of 1 million pesos. The state-owned Development Bank of the Philippines and the Land Bank of the Philippines (Official) will issue the bonds, with a maturity date set for November 2024. The final interest rate will be disclosed on the issuance date.

🔴 Turkey is contemplating regulatory measures for its cryptocurrency market, with a specific emphasis on licensing and taxation. The objective is to facilitate the country’s removal from the “grey list” of the

Zubin Singh Koticha and Alexis Gauba, the co-founders of the Opyn decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol, have announced their departure from the project and their exit from the cryptocurrency space. The platform will feature tokenized versions of classic cartoon characters spanning a century, including Pixar icons and Star Wars heroes and villains.
