Some dreams are too vivid to sleep on. Next week, Secret Dreams will prove that sentiment true with a genre-defying lineup, impressive production, and tight-knit community vibes across the campgrounds and stages.
The festival will take place from July 17th-19th, 2025, at Thornville, Ohio's Legend Valley. This year's lineup spans jam, bass, and more with Tipper, Pretty Lights, and Of The Trees leading the charge. Each of them, in addition to Lotus, Opiuo, Papadosio, The Floozies, and The Werks, will deliver two unique sets during the festival. Some of the highly anticipated moments include Alix Perez's 1985 takeover and a boundary-pushing set from Yheti x Lespecial: Liminoid. Plus, high-energy performances from Daily Bread, Of The Trees, and Ternion Sound will keep the crowd grooving all weekend long.
While the massive musical roster will anchor the weekend, festival-goers can also explore art galleries, participate in workshops, connect through yoga, and experience immersive art installations.
EDM.com has teamed up with Secret Dreams for a special ticket giveaway. Read on to discover how to enter. Festival passes plus early arrival, glamping, RV, and car parking are still available to purchase here.

With no advance notice, REZZ brought her "PORTAL" stage to Europe for the first time, unveiling the full-scale production during her headline set at Rampage Open Air on July 6th, 2025.
The hypnotic DJ and producer made her debut at the Belgian festival, which bills itself as the "Biggest Drum and Bass and Dubstep Party in the Universe." Without any promotional lead-up, REZZ seized the moment to introduce her "PORTAL" stage to Europe for the first time.
The festival rampage accommodated my portal performance by changing the entire stage design for the night I was headlining.
This was all very last minute and fucking sensational.
"PORTAL" was developed in collaboration with Bending Lite Productions, the team behind her previous "Spiral" and "Spectacle" set designs. It made its first appearance to a sold-out crowd at Cow Palace in San Francisco earlier this year, and the next rendition is set to take over Washington’s Tacoma Dome on September 26th, 2025.
Rampage was not on the formal "PORTAL" schedule, and the sudden overhaul in stage design and layout suggests last-minute, behind-the-scenes coordination between REZZ’s team and the festival to make the European "PORTAL" debut happen with no public notice. Festivalgoers had no indication the "PORTAL" experience would appear overseas so soon. "Surprise," REZZ posted after the set. "PORTAL EUROPE DEBUT just happened moments ago — No warning. Shock the world."

Tape B is heading out on his first-ever bus tour this October, and it’s his biggest headline run to date.
Fresh off a surprise back-to-back appearance with Zeds Dead at Denver’s Mission Ballroom and the instant sellout of his Red Rocks debut, the Florida-based producer has announced the first phase of The Soundtrack to Everything You Forgot tour. The 22-date run kicks off October 17, 2025, at Houston’s Bayou Music Center and will hit major cities across the U.S. and Canada, with additional shows to be revealed.
Phase one cities include stops at The Pinnacle in Nashville, History in Toronto, Piere’s in Fort Wayne, and Echostage in Washington, D.C. The tour will also hit large-capacity venues like The Armory in Minneapolis, an 8,400-capacity venue known for hosting some of the country's largest dubstep shows each year.
The tour will feature full-scale production and a heavy-hitting rotation of support from an impressive rotation of rising and established bass talent, including Cool Customer, MPH, PHRVA, STVSH, Know Good, Saka B2B Fly, Super Future, ASHEZ, Cozy Kev, and rSun.
Tape B has promised that this is just the beginning, with West Coast dates to be announced in the future, as shared on X. The run caps off a standout year for the EDM.com Class of 2025 alum, who sold out over 50 shows across North America in 2024 and headlined festivals like Shambhala and ILLfest.

What began as a promise during a sold-out homecoming weekend last December is now official: ISOxo and Knock2 are launching their own festival, Niteharts, landing in San Diego this October.
The two-day event will take over San Diego State University’s Snapdragon Stadium on October 11 and 12, 2025, transforming last year’s “San Diego 4EVER” into a curated festival built by two local powerhouses. Each night features solo sets from ISOxo and Knock2, followed by rare back-to-back performances. ISOxo will go B2B with Skrillex while Knock2 returns to the decks with Zedd.
ISOxo and Skrillex have recently collaborated on Skrillex's latest album and have a stack of unreleased collaborations that fans have been waiting to hear live. Knock2 and Zedd, on the other hand, tested the waters last year during an unexpected B2B at Washington D.C.'s Echostage, a set that had fans asking for more before the night even wrapped.

The rest of the lineup pulls from across the spectrum of trap, club, and experimental bass, with performances from JOYRYDE, Yellow Claw, horsegiirL, RIRIA, Syzy, Kenny Beats, Starjunk 95, Baby Jane, and ericdoa. Also on the bill are two special B2Bs: FrostTop with RemK, and WINK with Nikko.
Hints of the festival first surfaced earlier this summer, when fans driving through Nevada spotted a cryptic Niteharts billboard on I-15. Now, the reveal confirms what many hoped for following ISOKNOCK’s gravity-defying set at North Coast Music Festival and their packed Sahara Tent takeover at Coachella last year.
Together, Knock2 and ISOxo are alumni of EDM.com’s Class of 2022 and 2023, respectively. They have redrawn the boundaries of trap and bass house, pushing their sound through stadiums, festival stages, clubs, and warehouses alike at breakneck speed. Their joint album, “4EVER,” arrived as a surprise last August and captured the voracious momentum that has defined their collective rise. Niteharts is the natural next move, a hometown return, shaped entirely on their own terms.
Presale registration is open now at niteharts.com. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, July 9th, 2025, at 10 AM PST.

The electronic music community is constantly evolving with new sounds. EDM.com's weekly Fresh Picks series discovers the new tracks that will help define the underground dance scene.
You can submit tracks for consideration here.

Dum says he was deeply inspired by Chris Lake's timeless track "Changes," which the house music superstar released over two decades ago alongside Laura V. His approach reimagines the track with the sort of textured, hypnotic Afro-house grooves that could enliven any moonlit dancefloor.
Dum, whose work has been supported by RÜFÜS DU SOL, Armin van Buuren, Martin Garrix, Pete Tong and more, characterized the rework as a milestone in his career.
"This remix of 'Changes' means a lot to me," he said. "From the first moment I started working on it, I felt something. It brought back a wave of emotion I didn’t expect, like reconnecting with a part of myself. Working with Eran Hersh was a natural flow, and when Alina recorded the vocals, the whole track lit up. It became more than just a remix. It became a feeling."
Hersh, a chart-topping producer of melodic house and Afrobeats, said he was blow away when he first heard Dum's demo. That rings especially true with Eremia's spellbinding vocals, which transform the record into something genuinely compelling.
"The first time I heard the 'Changes' demo from Andrew, I got goosebumps," he added. "I knew I had to be a part of it. And then Alina came in with those vocals... wow. It became something even bigger than we imagined."
You can listen to "Changes" below.

Breakaway is crashing into Northern California for its first-ever festival in the region, bringing heavyweight headliners Martin Garrix and Tiësto alongside Elderbrook and Louis The Child.
Scheduled for October 11-12 at Sacramento's Cal Expo Center, this isn't just another festival throwing its hat into California's oversaturated ring. It's the latest expansion from the nation's fastest-growing independent festival brand, which is spreading across the country like In-N-Out's inevitable march eastward.
After conquering markets from Dallas to Atlanta, Breakaway is planting its flag in NorCal's fertile festival grounds, marking their sixth new market this year and bringing their total to 12 festivals. And the location is a prudent move. While Insomniac owns the City of Angels with its plethora of festival properties and Portola locks horns with Outside Lands in the Bay, Sacramento sits in that sweet spot where EDM fans have been clamoring for a large-scale festival without having to roadtrip it.
That's exactly what they're getting with the inaugural Breakaway NorCal, which will also feature performances by Daily Bread, Malaa (Alter Ego), Opiuo, Rusko, Austin Mill and CHYL, among other artists both international and local. Breakaway's formula of mixing marquee DJs with emerging talent has proven as reliable as LA traffic jams, turning every stop into a launching pad for both established headliners and breakthrough artists ready to claim their spotlight.
Two-day GA, VIP & Ultimate VIP tickets are on sale now. You can check out the full lineup below.

Experts Only Festival
The two-day event, produced in collaboration with Medium Rare, Relentless Beats, and EMW, is expected to attract over 50,000 fans. It will take place across two stages, featuring the latest in stage design and production.
The festival grounds, previously hosting Electric Zoo and Governors Ball, will be transformed into an immersive experience with panoramic views of the Manhattan skyline. Fans can also expect a wide variety of food and beverage options, interactive brand activations, and more.
Femme House will also play a key role in the festival's programming. The nonprofit, known for its mission to support women, gender-expansive, BIPOC, and LGBTQIA+ creatives in dance music, will be present on-site as part of its ongoing collaboration with Summit. $1 from every ticket sold will benefit Femme House's free educational and mentorship programs, adding a layer of purpose to the festival's pulse.
Also joining the weekend is LIV, the iconic nightclub brand known for its Miami and Las Vegas outposts. LIV will host its signature Skydeck experience on the festival grounds, bringing its elevated energy to Randall's Island with VIP tables and bottle service.
John Summit continues to make waves in the dance music scene, having sold out major venues such as Los Angeles' BMO Stadium and New York's Madison Square Garden, while pushing boundaries with his dynamic productions. His latest single, "Is Everybody Having Fun?," a collaboration with Gorgon City featuring Rhys from the Sticks, has already made a big splash, further cementing his position at the forefront of dance music. The Experts Only Festival blends Summit's underground roots with his global success, featuring a curated mix of iconic acts and emerging talent. From major festival headliner sets like Coachella to intimate, genre-defying performances, Summit is set to deliver a cultural moment in New York City this fall.

Forget easing into fall, Amsterdam Dance Event is firing up a five-day sonic supernova with the release of its first wave of programming.
The world's largest conference for electronic music has just announced its first wave of 250 artists set to soundtrack this year's outing, which is once again scheduled to take over the Dutch capital in October.
View this post on InstagramA post shared by Amsterdam Dance Event (@amsterdamdanceevent)
This year’s first wave spans continents and genres, from the thunderous techno of Klangkuenstler and Helena Hauff to the sun-soaked Afro house stylings of Black Coffee. UK grime icon, Skepta, will double-dip as both a performer and ADE Pro conference speaker, while bringing along his house label Más Tiempo to Shelter Amsterdam for what should be an unforgettable label showcase. Also featured among the massive slate of early bookings are heavy-hitters like Armin van Buuren, James Hype, Oliver Heldens, and Boys Noize. With more than 100 events on the docket thus far and over 3,000 artists ultimately expected, ADE 2025 promises a marathon of movement for the ages.
This year's ADE is scheduled to take place from October 22nd through 26th, 2025. Individual tickets and ADE Pro passes are now available, so the countdown is officially on for five days of curated chaos across Amsterdam’s most iconic venues.

This November, the fantastical Tomorrowland universe is opening its gates in Shanghai.
For two decades, the beloved Belgian electronic music festival has summoned the dance music faithful to the storybook town of Boom. Since its debut in 2005, the festival has grown into an icon of imagination and spectacle. While Boom remains the beating heart of Tomorrowland, the brand’s global ambitions have outgrown the borders of its birthplace. This year, Tomorrowland is taking its biggest leap yet, straight into the heart of China.
Scheduled for November 22nd, 2025, at Shanghai’s futuristic Hero Dome, "The Magic of Tomorrowland" will mark the festival’s first official event in mainland China. The event will be a one-night indoor experience tailored exclusively for a new audience, fusing music, technology, and the brand's signature theatrics all under one roof. The show promises custom-built stage designs, surprise artist collaborations, and a carefully curated blend of Tomorrowland’s international mainstays alongside emerging stars from China’s electronic music scene.
It’s not the first time Tomorrowland has looked beyond Belgium’s borders. This year, Tomorrowland is notably making its debut at the Sphere in Las Vegas as part of a collaborative project called "Unity" alongside Insomniac Events. However, the brand's ambitions in Shanghai represent something entirely different. Rather than replicating the scale of Boom, the forthcoming production aims to distill the Tomorrowland experience into something more intimate and perhaps experimental.
Pre-registration for priority ticket access is now open via Tomorrowland’s official WeChat community, with sales set to launch in September.
