  • III Points Festival Returning to Miami in 2025 With Diverse and Daring Lineup

Miami's homegrown music disruptor is back, and they're not pulling any punches.

The organizers of III Points have unveiled the festival's 2025 lineup ahead of its return to its longtime home at Mana Wynwood from October 17–18. The 11th edition is stacked with artists that span the genre spectrum, from acid-fueled techno and nu-disco to leftfield hip-hop.

III Points 2025 will feature performances by Black Coffee, Sub Focus, Chase & Status, Peggy Gou, Michael Bibi, Adam Ten, Nico Moreno, Nina Kraviz, Barry Can't Swim, ANOTR and EDM.com Class of 2023 inductee Indira Paganotto, among other electronic music stars. The lineup is rounded out by a compelling list of multi-genre stars like Phantogram, Denzel Curry, Sean Paul, Magdalena Bay, Thundercat and more.

"It is not easy navigating a forward-thinking, multi-genre festival in the North American music landscape nowadays, but I believe our commitment to our Miami music community has been the guiding force for us," said III Points co-founder David Sinopoli.

That sense of local devotion and cultural pride has long defined III Points. Since 2013, the festival has served as both a launchpad for emerging underground artists and a laboratory for experimental vanguards. This year's billing keeps that spirit alive, and if past is prologue, we can expect even deeper layers of weirdness and wonder in the lineup's next phases.

Beyond the music, III Points remains one of North America's most thoughtfully curated music fests. Its location in the Wynwood Arts District, a technicolor playground of street art and post-industrial vibes, sets the tone for a surrealist festival experience.

Check out the full lineup below. Tickets for III Points can be purchased here.

  • Nicole Moudaber Launches House Music-Focused Label, MoodCollective

Nicole Moudaber is expanding her musical empire with the launch of MoodCollective, a new record label dedicated exclusively to house and tech house music.

Set to debut in June 27th, 2025, the imprint marks a strategic pivot for Moudaber, who is revered for her work in the global techno scene.

"People know me for techno, but I’ve always played and loved all different genres," Moudaber explained. "MoodCollective is my chance to create and explore the world of house and tech house further. It felt like the time was right for me to break down the genre barriers and create a new movement."

The new label will focus on elevating both established and emerging artists while serving as what Moudaber's team is calling "a creative playground" for experimentation beyond her trademark sound.

To celebrate the launch, Moudaber will host the first official MoodCollective party on June 28th at EXE Beach in Bulgaria, featuring Sicilian tech house duo VLTRA as special guests. The event promises "minimal beats and sexy soul-shaking grooves" the day after the label's first official release, according to media alert shared with EDM.com.

MoodCollective is now accepting demos, which artists can submit via email.

  • bitbird's 5th "create together" Compilation Proves Community Still Beats Algorithm

The best musical partnerships have always required a leap of faith between strangers. After teaming up with Audius for their fifth create together compilation, bitbird once again proves that leap no longer needs geography—just good WiFi and better intentions.

In an industry increasingly dominated by algorithmic discovery and manufactured viral moments, projects like create together feel like a return to electronic music's collaborative DIY roots. The series from San Holo's beloved electronic music label brings together artists who meet and collaborate entirely through their Discord server.

It started as a month-long challenge back in 2019 and has grown into something much more significant: a flourishing ecosystem of producers, vocalists and visual artists innovating genres and creating ones that don't have names yet.

"create together has always been about more than music," said Thorwald van den Akker. "It's about building a space where our community can express themselves, collaborate freely, and be seen. Every year, it reminds me why we do this. It's raw, it's real, and it’s where the heart of bitbird lives."

Out now, the fifth installment features 28 artists from 13 countries and speaks to how borderless these digital creative communities have become. It's fitting that the release was facilitated by a partnership with decentralized music streaming platform Audius, whose artist-first mentality helped bring in over 170 participants into the mix.

Highlights include "RAINBOWS," where Kaiyo laces spacey vocal chops through gritty glitch hop beats; "PETTTT," a cathartic hyperpop track from lillybug; and "land on my feet ~," a collaboration between euphee, Disphing and HYPERSPVCE where vintage electro synths provide the perfect backdrop for lyrics about becoming who you're meant to be.

  • Martin Garrix and Lauv Turn Romantic Desperation Into Dancefloor Gold With New Single, "MAD"

There's a particular kind of torture reserved for dance music fans: when a song makes you want to simultaneously throw your hands up and throw yourself dramatically onto your bed. Martin Garrix and Lauv have weaponized this cognitive dissonance in their new single "MAD," out now via the former's STMPD RCRDS.

The collaboration feels inevitable in hindsight—Garrix, the Dutch wunderkind who's been soundtracking EDM festivals since he was basically a fetus, teams up with Lauv, the king of making millennial heartbreak sound like a vitamin deficiency commercial. Together, they've created something that belongs equally on mainstage festival lineups and in the "songs to cry to in your car" playlist we all pretend we don't have.

The track's genius lies in how it encapsulates that specific modern relationship anxiety where you're desperate for someone and also furious about it. Lauv's tortured lyrics bottle that feeling while Garrix's classic dance-pop formula drives it home with anthemic, synth-fueled production.

"Martin and I have been friends for years and it’s so amazing to finally have a record together," Lauv said. "What an inspiring DJ, producer, songwriter and human."

You can watch the "MAD" music video below and find the new single on streaming platforms here.

  • ATLiens Take Red Rocks to Another Dimension in Unforgettable Live Bass Music Experience

By now, Red Rocks' reputation precedes it: a stunning amphitheater carved between two massive sandstone outcrops with legendary acoustics. Experiencing a show at the iconic venue feels fundamentally different from any other in major music markets—so much so that even seasoned ravers find it almost surreal.

I’m convinced that my first Red Rocks show would’ve been special no matter who was performing, but I was especially thrilled it came via one of bass music’s most "out of this world" acts: ATLiens.

ATLiens at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre on Saturday, May 17th, 2025.

    Gabriel Bandril

Raucous supporting sets from OG Nixin b2b Benda, HOL! and more set the tone, each delivering a progressively more intense mix of dubstep, riddim and experimental bass with escalating production that mirrored the sun’s descent behind the rocks. ATLiens, donning their ominous chrome masks and glowing red eyes, emerged by nightfall to the sound of a dystopian emergency broadcast, warning attendees they were "now preparing to leave the world behind."

From there, the duo unleashed a bass-fueled barrage that was equal parts disorienting and electrifying. Enthralling sci-fi visuals filled the LED screen, enhanced by lasers, strobe bursts, columns of fire and crackling sparks, all transforming the venue into an intergalactic spectacle. Brief rain showers only heightened the magic.

ATLiens made sure to play out IDs and selections from their bass music contemporaries, ensuring a set full of surprises and genre variation, from trap and riddim to midtempo bass. They dropped fan-favorites like “Shelter," “Finding Silence" and their blistering official remix of Creed’s “One Last Breath.” They also sprinkled in flips of crowd-pleasers like Ray Volpe’s “Song Request" and Waka Flocka Flame’s “No Hands” along with originals from Jessica Audiffred, Samplifire, Space Laces, Subtronics and REZZ.

Equally impressive was what they didn’t do: say a word. ATLiens are among the rare few performers who let their music and visuals speak entirely for themselves. They arrive, wreak absolute havoc, and vanish. No banter, no branding fluff—just pure, unadulterated energy.

Roaming around the amphitheater during the show revealed another truth: there’s no bad seat at Red Rocks. Up front, the production is entirely engrossing. Further back, the elevated view reveals sweeping vistas of Colorado, including the Denver skyline glowing in the distance. Generous spacing between attendees made dancing easy and comfortable—something increasingly rare at big-name venues.

I can’t imagine a better introduction to Red Rocks than witnessing ATLiens tear through its sacred stage. If you're bass music fan looking for a venue that blends otherworldly production with geological majesty, this is it. Should you ever get the chance to see a headliner of their caliber at such a legendary site, don’t hesitate.

RISE Festival, the Mojave Desert’s soul-stirring gathering of light and music, returns October 3-5 with a 10-year anniversary lineup bringing together world-class music, immersive art and an iconic sky lantern ceremony under the sky.

RISE positions itself as a “collective art project” where thousands release lanterns into the night sky, each inscribed with dreams, grief or gratitude. It’s an analog moment in a digital world, with a lineup that matches the magnitude of the world's largest sky lantern festival.

Headlining the three-day fest on Friday and Saturday are dance music superstars RÜFÜS DU SOL and Calvin Harris, respectfively. Sunday will then see guitar icon John Mayer helming the stage, underscoring RISE’s curatorial prowess of both electronic and alternative sounds.

But it’s not just the headliners that burn bright. The weekend journey into melodic depths continues with RISE's impressive undercard as Ben Böhmer, LP Giobbi, Oliver Heldens, Coco & Breezy and more round out the festivities.

  • Win VIP Passes to Wicked Oaks, the Brand-New EDM Festival Stitching Three Beloved Events Into One Beast

If you’ve ever wanted to dance beneath the stars while being silently judged by an ancient pecan tree, Wicked Oaks has you spiritually covered. Debuting October 25–26 at Austin's historic Carson Creek Ranch, the festival is the genre-defying lovechild of three beloved Texas-born fests—Freaky Deaky, ILLfest and Summoning of the Eclipse—now fused into one mystic mega-event conjured by Disco Presents.

In an era of copy-paste festivals, Wicked Oaks dares to get weird. Set on 58 acres of riverside land where history and hallucinations collide, the festival has the feel of a choose-your-own-adventure novel written in lasers, bass and eldritch vibes.

According to a press release, Wicked Oaks is inspired by forest folklore and surrealist storytelling, a festival "where mystical creatures and shadowy figures roam among whimsical light displays, fire performances and large-scale interactive installations." Think Midsommar meets Electric Forest, but without the existential dread or culty undertones.

"This is a concept we’ve been building for a while," said James "Disco Donnie" Estopinal, Founder of Disco Presents. "We’re excited to bring the best of Freaky Deaky, Summoning and ILLfest to Austin, Texas. Carson Creek Ranch is a beautiful place and Wicked Oaks will bring these communities together in a special way."

The lineup is staggering. Each individual festival brand will present its own stage and audiovisual production. The Freaky Deaky stage will feature superstars the likes of Martin Garrix, Eric Prydz, Kaskade and Gryffin, among others; over on the Summoning stage, dubstep luminary SVDDEN DEATH has curated a ferocious roster featuring his VOYD alias, Eptic, Flux Pavilion, NGHTMRE b2b Kompany and more; and the ILLfest stage boasts a more groove-forward lineup with Autograf, Surf Mesa, Tony Romera, Wenzday and more.

EDM.com has teamed up with Disco Presents for a special VIP giveaway ahead of the inaugural Wicked Oaks. Read on to discover how to enter. General tickets and camping passes go on sale Tuesday, May 27th at 10am CT via the Wicked Oaks website.

  • Tomorrowland Invites Fans Into Frozen World With Limited Edition Fantasy Novel, "The Odes of Orbyz"

Just when you thought Tomorrowland had explored every dimension of magic and EDM, it’s cracking open an ancient glacier to unveil an entire literary universe beneath the surface. The iconic festival brand has long been renowned for turning music festivals into myth-making playgrounds, and it's now diving deeper into the realm of narrative immersion with the release of its latest fantasy novel, The Odes of Orbyz.

Serving as the thematic cornerstone for Tomorrowland's 2025 festival in Belgium, this limited edition hardcover is a gateway into the frozen underworld of Orbyz, the newest setting in the brand's ever-expanding literary universe. The story follows warrior-turned-mystic Tybla, whose investigation into a cataclysmic mine explosion thrusts her into a clash between ancient civilizations and shadowy threats from the "Deep-Dark" of their homeland.

The 300+ page novel, available in English and Dutch via the Tomorrowland store, marks its third fantasy adventure novel following the success of The Spirit of Life and the Book of Wisdom. It's part of the organization's multimedia arm, Tomorrowland Fiction, which is now "planning more literary and creative adventures including comic books tied to the Tomorrowland universe and screen adaptations," according to a press release.

Those attending Tomorrowland 2025 will find traces of The Odes of Orbyz brought vividly to life, from the festival's towering Mainstage to intricate design elements scattered throughout its other 16 stages.

  • ISOKNOCK Reveal Inaugural Dates of New Curated Music Festival, Niteharts

If you thought ISOKNOCK's late-2024 takeover of Snapdragon Stadium was their peak, think again because they just gave fans a reason to clear their fall schedules.

After igniting festivals and stadiums with the raw electricity of their "4EVR" shows, ISOxo and Knock2 are keeping the momentum blazing. The duo have revealed the official dates for the debut of their own curated music festival, Niteharts Fest, scheduled for October 11-12, 2025 in San Diego.

They confirmed the dates after fans driving on the I-15 spotted a billboard in Nevada.

    ISOxo/Knock2/Instagram

The announcement confirms what fans have been buzzing about since ISOKNOCK’s euphoric hometown blowout in San Diego this past December. Niteharts Fest is shaping up to be the next evolution in a meteoric career that’s moved at the speed of sound since both artists earned spots in EDM.com's Class of 2022 and 2023, respectively.

ISOKNOCK's Coachella debut in 2024 turned the festival's legendary Sahara stage into a pressure cooker of sweat and sound, while their high-wire performance at Chicago’s North Coast Music Festival—in a shipping container suspended mid-air—proved there’s no stage too lofty for the tandem. Niteharts Fest promises to be no different.

Together, ISOxo and Knock2 have become the embodiment of a new generation in electronic music. Their debut album, a high-energy manifesto of trap music's future, dropped in August of last year and cemented their standing as leaders of a flourishing wave of hungry producers testing the boundaries of sound design.

Fans can RSVP here to stay up-to-date on Niteharts ticketing information.
