  • 8pm EST Baltimore Uprising/ 9:30pm EST Simple Instructions Before Leaving Earth
Yes! The Voice of Choice is BACK.  The Mz.OptimiZm Speaks™ show enables artist, businesses, and non-profit groups with getting their events out into the community!!! We also discuss the latest in news, projects, and advice.
8:30PM to 10:00 PM  They gathered together in homes, often in secret, reminding one another of God's promises and relating Jesus' commands—to love God and others— to real life situations. They encouraged one another, challenged one another, and worked out what it feels like to be a Christian. Sherwin Simple is offering the same concept. In fact, he is doing exactly as it is in the Bible. God created us to live in a community—and especially to read & learn Scripture in a community. It's only together that we can accurately interpret and apply the Word. So if you don't currently participate in a small-group Bible study. Join in and listen to Simple BasicInstructions Before Leaving Earth.

  • Family Time with Mike Dee & Darrel Gardner Horsemanship Show
    7:30PM to 8:30PM
    The Mike Moore Show
The President of Lone Star High Steppers
    8:30 PM to 10:30 PM
Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:
    Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.
    Gaining Respect
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners
    Teaching Obedience
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.
Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

  • The Smoking Glass Hour with Baron Glass
    7:30 PM -
Haley Ellerbe is 18 years old a senior at Caldwell Parish High School. She has been riding since she was 10 years old. Her first horse was an 8 year old grade mare.
Haley learned to ride and basic horseman ship skills on her. Haley began to attend the Columbia play days and competed in all events. She won all around cowgirl her second year of riding and also won the cowboy extreme challenge when she was 12 years old.
Then it was time to upgrade and my mom bought me my first true barrel horse a 6 year old bay mare when I was 13. Her name was Fancy. I junior high rodeo for one year and decided I like jackpot barrel runs and local rodeos better.
Fancy was good at her job but I had out grown her and my mom bought me my true love. A flea bit grey gelding name Flash like Jack aka Speckles. He and I have won the teenage youth and open barrel division for the last 3 years in the Northeast Louisiana Rodeo Association.
I have 16 belt buckles and my biggest check from chasing cans is $890 for a 16 second run.
Speckles usually runs in the 1d or 2d division at jackpot barrel runs. He has his own unique way of chasing cans. He slides in on his back end and digs out with his front end. Believe me if you aren't holding the saddle horn when he turns you will go right off his back end. I love this horse. He gives his all whether he is sore from a long weekend of running or from being out of shape. This horse will never have another home. He is spoiled and loves to eat French Fries, and butter cookies.
8:30 PM - Join us as we discuss The Drug War, Mass Incarceration and Race. How it continues to destroy communities across the Country.

  • Positively Dee for discussion about HIV/AIDS
Join us for HIV/AIDS discussion bringing awareness to the community. Historically, the HIV/AIDS epidemic has affected more men than women. However, if new HIV infections continue at their current rate worldwide, women with HIV may soon outnumber men with HIV. HIV infection impacts a growing number of women in Illinois each year. Nearly 7,000 women in Illinois are currently known to be living with HIV and/or AIDS. Many hundreds of other women are probably living with HIV even though they are unaware of their own infection. HIV/AIDS disproportionately impacts African-American women in Illinois and the United States. Nationally, HIV infection is the leading cause of death for African-American women between the ages of 25 and 34. In Illinois, the number of HIV cases among African-American women continues to climb. Roughly 68 percent of Illinois women living with HIV are African American, while African Americans only make up 15 percent of the Illinois population. Caucasian women account for 16 percent of Illinois women living with HIV, while the Caucasian population represents more than 73 percent of Illinois residents. Latina women represent roughly 11 percent of the HIV/AIDS cases in women, while 13 percent of the Illinois population is Latino. Roughly 4 percent of women with HIV are from Native American, Asian, Pacific Islander and other communities. Women in their 30s are the most likely to be living with HIV/AIDS, and almost all Illinois women living with HIV are between the ages of 20 and 50.
