  • Baron Glass will interview Cindy Taiwan of Diva by Cindy a hair care brand
Cindy Taiwan, of Diva by Cindy, a hair care brand dedicated to being good for your hair and doing good for the community is available to be a guest this Saturday. Her story is INCREDIBLE!
At the age of sixteen, my chemistry teacher inspired my love of chemistry by teaching me how to make beauty products. Women and beauty are my passion. I created the DIVA BY CINDY product line for all women who desire natural based products that will give them longer and healthier hair. Our products contain natural ingredients with extreme detangling ability and therefore insure that hair is not lost on the comb and on the floor during the styling process. These products allow you and your stylist to design flowing hairstyles that will compliment your personality. Soft, silky, DIVAlicious hair is what DIVA BY CINDY delivers.
My mission for DIVA BY CINDY is not only to give women the confidence gained by beautiful hair. I also wish to offer a vehicle to inspire, motivate and empower women who have always wanted to become part of the beauty industry by giving them the opportunity to become DIVA distributors. As you experience these beautiful, tropically-scented products, you will be on your way to achieving the crown you’ve always wanted: longer, healthier hair with body and bounce.
Join our movement as we change the world, one DIVA at a time!
    Love Always,
    Cindy Tawiah

  • Darrel Gardner Horsemanship Show
Darrell Gardner's Horsemanship was founded upon four principles:
    Showing Your Horse Love
By expressing love to your horse it helps to build a good relationship and strong bond. This will lead to a better response from your horse.
    Gaining Respect
If you don't have respect on the ground, you won't have it on the saddle. Respect is an essential part of horsemanship and it begins with good ground manners
    Teaching Obedience
Obedience comes with consistent training. This teaches your horse what you expect and how to quickly respond to the cues given.
Loyalty between the horse and trainer
It all begins with gaining trust. Your initial approach is extremely important. It takes patience and time to get your horse to gain faith in you.

The Economy is showing an optimistic surge in our Country which is a relief; however, are we as a community benefiting from this surge.
Where are our dollars going? Are we supporting BOB's Black owned Businesses' or are we continually feeding our dollars in communities that do not support us? Tonight we talk about The Monetization factor in the Black Community- are we in the red or in the black.
Are our priorities in line with our purpose and how are our leaders and celebrities playing a role in this discussion.

    The early Church dynamic:
They gathered together in homes, often in secret, reminding one another of God's promises and relating Jesus' commands—to love God and others— to real life situations. They encouraged one another, challenged one another, and worked out what it feels like to be a Christian. Sherwin Simple is offering the same concept. In fact, he is doing exactly as it is in the Bible. God created us to live in a community—and especially to read & learn Scripture in a community. It's only together that we can accurately interpret and apply the Word. So if you don't currently participate in a small-group Bible study. Join in and listen to Simple Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

Discussion about the growing trend of children as young as 4, 5 & 6 years of age being suspended from beginning elementary education they have barely started.  Included in this discussion is the increasing incidence of these young children being labeled as “trouble makers” or just “bad kids”, doomed to carry the label into adulthood if this is not changed—and changed now.

  • Are some in the Black Community playing the blame game????
Are some in the black community playing the blame game when in fact we should be blaming ourselves.
Ferguson and Staten Island incidents prove racism. Brown was far from a model citizen. He pilfered cigars from a convenience store and then bullied the proprietor when he tried to stop him. Then, he and a friend walked down the middle of the street, a stupid and dangerous practice. Officer Wilson asked him to use the sidewalk because of the situation, not because Brown was trolling innocently along while being black as the media would have one believe. Instead of complying, Brown escalated the situation by back-talking. I agree the number of shots fired sounds excessive, but a grand jury after reviewing all the evidence found otherwise. Staten Island, There was excessive force, was not a racial thing either as the victim’s own daughter so stated. Why do we want to make every cop-suspect into a racial event? There is a target on every young black man’s back indeed! Maybe if we didn’t commit crimes out of proportion to other people in society, the police wouldn’t view us with such suspicion. Why don’t we own the fact that some of us need to change our behavior in order to gain respect.  Racism does exist but so does the lack of respect for our representation in public.
This story was written on the internet. I thought it pointed out some problems we have in our community. So I took it and made it into how I felt it should have been written. So here is the link to the oringnal story. http://www.metrowestdailynews.com/article/20141217/Opinion/141216655/?Start=2#sthash.z6EKlKEK.dpuf
