All the plans were in play for Bob Blincoe to take a team of Jesus followers into Baghdad in December to pray about moving there to plant the gospel in Baghdad and southern Iraq. But in the “severe providence of God,” the trip didn’t happen because the man who was Bob’s main contact in Baghdad was martyred. Bob Blincoe from FrontiersUSA joins us to share the story of this brother’s martyrdom; how hundreds of Muslims in Baghdad have heard the gospel because of his death; and the plan to take a few believers into Iraq this year who will be praying about taking the baton from our fallen brother. “Except a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies it remains a single seed. But if it dies it produces many seeds” (John 12:24).
