Blood Sisters

Hey! Remember that lil creepy dude Freddy? We barely do! Listen to us struggle to remember the details of the rest of these Nightmare movies, including A Nightmare on Elm Street 5: The Dream Child (1989), Freddy’s Dead: The Final Nightmare (1991), Wes Craven’s New Nightmare (1994), & A Nightmare on Elm Street (2010).

It's spooky season! Which means it's time for a spooky ghoul to dive into a franchise about, so we're talking about that little rascal, Freddy Kruger. This round we're getting into the first four movies of the franchise which includes A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984), A Nightmare on Elm Street 2: Freddy’s Revenge (1985), A Nightmare on Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors (1987), & A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988).

Take a trip through the desert with some serial killers, Juliette Lewis, & us! We're talking about some classic mid-90s romps with some serious anger issues from some well-known baby boys, Kalifornia (1993) & Natural Born Killers (1994). Hard trigger warnings for some extreme sexual violence, among other kinds of violence. More than what we usually talk about, anyway.

It's been a solid year since the last one, but he's back! He's the man behind the mask! And he's coming in your holes! Wait, no, is that right? Maybe. Anyway, we're talking about Jason Voorhees again in all his undead splendor. For this round we've got Friday the 13th Part VII: The New Blood (1988), Friday the 13th Part VIII: Jason Takes Manhattan (1989), & Jason Goes to Hell: The Final Friday (1993) on the docket. Strap in, Pod People, it's about to be a real bloodbath bonanza.

If you don't need the hilarious recap from the last 2 Friday the 13th Bonanzas, skip to 12:35.

We blast into this classic horror franchise, with the most 90's cast imaginable: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Ryan Phillippe, and Freddie Prinze Jr! We're talking about I Know What You Did Last Summer (1997), I Still Know What You Did Last Summer (1998), & I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer (2006). Two pretty goofy but fun films, and one that was so horrible we pull a Blood Sister's first and skip through the film to get it over with faster.

We're jacked about the wild ride that is these films, The Babysitter (2017) & Rim of the World (2019), both directed by McG. Come with us on a journey to a hyper-stylized dimension where aliens attack & babysitter's make deals with demons.

We got some baby scream queens in this franchise! Popping into yet another haunted doll series, this time we're talking about Annabelle & all her shenanigans in Annabelle (2014), Annabelle: Creation (2017), & Annabelle Comes Home (2019). Settle in pod people, it's going to be a long one.

Yo, dogs. Fall off the deep end with us and these total mindfuck of some movies, The Signal (2014) and Bottom of the World (2017). These movies are going to fuck with you. You should watch them before you listen to this because we are absolutely not going to describe them with enough detail for you to understand them and we're only going to confuse you more.

We're wrapping up this wild franchise with the most recent 4 films, including Seed of Chucky (2004), Curse of Chucky (2013), Cult of Chucky (2017), &  the brand new Child’s Play (2019). And what a ride it's been. Good riddance, Chunky! For now, anyway.

You better believe we're gearing up for the release of the newest addition to the Child's Play Cinematic Universe (CPCU)! This time around, we're watching the first 4 films of the franchise which includes Child’s Play (1988), Child’s Play 2 (1990), Child’s Play 3 (1991), & Bride of Chucky (1998). May this episode give you the power, we beg of it!
