In this edition of Blood Sisters, Erica does the deepest of dives into the many timelines of Coherence & we all learn a valuable lesson about where not to put our hands & dicks.

Taking a break from obscure flicks & wacky slasher franchises to talk about some actual masterpieces of cinema, Get Out (2017) & Us (2019), both directed by the unmatched Jordan Peele. We did a deep dive on some of the symbolism & themes of both films while tossing in a few of our own hot takes.

Y'all ever heard of these 90s female directed horror comedy flicks? Because I doubt it. I really do. They're pretty dope though, maybe check them out sometime. Also, just for fun, we discuss who we'd recast if we were making these movies today.

It’s us, ya girls. And Joel, he’s cool too. We’re diving into one of our favorite recent horror franchises which includes The Conjuring (2013), The Conjuring 2 (2016), & The Nun (2018). Beyond that, we discuss how being at an exorcism sounds cool in theory & which other movies we can site the sequel as being the best of the franchise.

Valentine's Day may be a fake holiday, but we're celebrating it by talking about some zombie romance including Warm Bodies (2013), Life After Beth (2014), Burying the Ex (2014) & Night of the Living Deb (2014). Just to really drill it in, we're also drinking Zombies while we discuss this batch of golden boys & double standards in relationships.

Good riddance to 2018! We're reminiscing on some of the horror movies that came out this past year, all while drinking whatever we feel like because it's time to wash away our sorrows & head into 2019 ready to peak. We talk about our favorites of the year & what movies we're most looking forward to for the next one.
