It's Friday the 13th! This is Part I of our Friday the 13th specials. Erica, Amy, & Joel are drinking something called "Jason Voorhees" while talking about the first 3 films of the altogether too long Friday the 13th franchise which includes Friday the 13th (1980), Friday the 13th Part 2 (1981), & Friday the 13th Part III (1982). Additionally, we get into how to successfully do whip its & we're sufficiently enraged by an urban legend surrounding the first film.

Amy & Erica become wine moms in this episode by drinking Wine Cube while talking about the Cube franchise which includes Cube (1997), Cube 2: Hypercube (2002), & Cube Zero (2004). As a bonus, we also cover an episode from Twilight Zone (Season 3, Episode 14) titled, "Five Characters in Search of an Exit," that served as the inspiration for the Cube story, as well as Elevated (1996), the short film Vincenzo Natali made prior to the first feature of the franchise.

Rounding out the latter portion of the Leprechaun franchise, Amy & Erica are talking about the last 4 films of the series including Leprechaun 4: In Space (1996), Leprechaun in the Hood (2000), Leprechaun: Back 2 tha Hood (2003), & Leprechaun: Origins (2014). We're drinking some Smithwick's Irish Red Ale while discussing how much zanier this section gets, as if that were even possible.

In this first part of the thrilling two part St Patrick's Day episode extravaganza, Erica & Amy bust into the Leprechaun franchise by talking about the first three, seemingly most normal of the bunch, Leprechaun (1993), Leprechaun 2 (1994), & Leprechaun 3 (1995). All the while, drinking probably the most disgusting Whiskey Sours ever concocted.

We're celebrating Joel by watching some of his picks for this episode. The movies up for discussion are The Sixth Sense (1999), The Awakening (2011), & Horns (2013) all while we drink Duchesse De Bourgogne. In true Blood Sisters fashion, we tangent hard in to ghost stories, Anne of Green Gables, and a little bit of improv.

It's Valentine's Day! To celebrate this anti-holiday, Amy & Erica are drinking Love Noir wines while discussing the original & the remake of My Bloody Valentine.
