    In this episode, it is the one year anniversary of the BBB Podcast.  Today we discuss the confusion that todays culture encourages and promotes.  How do we combat this with a humble and loving approach?  How can we criticize the entertainment industry without being just as critical of ourselves?  Satan Shoes?  What are those?  Sorry I had to.  Some will get that joke.  Anyway, we are living in a time as described in Isaiah 5:20, where people call evil good and good evil.  It is so confusing!  We have to draw near God so he will draw near to us (James 4:8).  God Bless and have a blessed week.

    After a 2 week hiatus, the guys get together to discuss how going through the motions in any of the roles that you take on can be dangerous, especially as a Christian and neglecting your inner spirit.     In today's episode, the BBB crew is joined by local college Freshman, Alexis (Lexi) Newsome.  Lexi is an 18 yo pre-med student at UPIKE.  Lexi is one of those people you can't help but to gravitate to.  She is a very intelligent and well rounded young lady.  She brings us her testimony boldly and courageously.  Her story of how she gave the battle of depression and anxiety is awe inspiring and proof that the young adults in our community still have the ability to connect and build the relationship with Jesus that we need to weather any storm.  Please don't forget to let us know if any of our guests testimonies touch your heart, plant any seeds, or inspire you to strengthen your faith.   • Ep. 40: Rooting Our Faith Like a Shepherd's Tree
    In today's episode we discuss how our faith wavers and sometimes is not rooted into the word and into our faith in God like it should be.  There is a tree in Africa called the Shepherd's Tree (Boscia albitrunca in scientific terms) and it has so many qualities that remind me of how we, as Christians, should be when it comes to our faith in our Lord and Savior.  The characteristics of this peculiar tree should humble us and see that although we may not be perfect, as long as our roots keep searching for that "Living Water" so that we can share it with others.  God Bless!!!

Devin, Jordan & I are just a few Christian Youth Leaders that want to promote and advocate for the younger generation of Christians to stand up for their faith and be unashamed to claim Jesus as Lord. We give young adults and teenagers a platform to that very thing and worship through song, devotion, writing, poetry, testimonies, etc. We just want people to be a light to others with their own stories of faith.
