Brandon & Jordan meet to discuss the differences between Guilt and Conviction. Sometimes we can allow guilt to break us down and never recover. But when we feel convicted, it’s the Holy Spirit letting us know that we’ve sinned and that the debt for that sin has already been paid. We need to enter everyday with the Full Armor of God to prevent Satans attacks on us for making us feel guilty. Guilt is of the Devil, Conviction is of the Holy Spirit.

In today’s episode of Bloodbought Brother’s, Cadence Ferguson joins us for scripture, song, & silliness. Cadence has been singing since she was a little girl. She made it to Allstate choir 2 years in a row, she sings at church all the time, and she even tried out for America’s Got Talent. Cadence is a Freshman at Pikeville High school. She is the daughter of Jared and Amanda Ferguson. Scripture for this weeks episode comes from Ephesians 5:15-20, with the key verses being, “Be filled with the Spirit, addressing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody to the Lord with your heart, giving thanks always and for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

In this weeks episode, Austin Burke, aka @theburk3nator, an official Rotten Tomatoes movie critic joins the BBB crew to discuss how Christianity and the movie industry can co-exist. The verses that drives this episode is Proverbs 4:23-27, which says, “Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it. Keep your mouth free of perversity; keep corrupt talk far from your lips. Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways.” We also get to talk about a local football game, KSR’s game of the week, Pikeville vs Belfry.

In episode 25 of BBB, Brandon’s son, Archer, joins the guys as their special guest. Just as we thought, it was random and as silly of an episode as we’ve had. However, Archer was able to be such a blessing (prior to his loss of focus) with opening prayer, Christian jokes, and his story of being bab-pa-times. Gotta love this kid. Harley Paynter is a 17 year old senior at Boyd County High School. She is a Christian athlete and believes that God has blessed her with a talent to use for His glory and that is what she strives to do on a daily basis. Her faith is most important to her and has been the driving force behind her hard work, even when she felt like giving up. In Episode 22 of BBB, we get a glimpse into the spiritual life of Chloe Roberts. She’s a Freshman at Pike County Central High School. Currently, she watches different churches on TV because of the pandemic. Some organizations she’s involved with include FCA, Gifted & Talented, Gear Up, Unite, and Beta Club. Her hobbies are piano, painting, dancing, fishing, baking, TikTok, writing, traveling, and Bible study. What a wonderful young soul and her passion for sharing the Word with others is so inspiring.
