This week Tommy and Kevin talk about some of our recent up close and personal wrestling experiences we had this weekend. We also talk through some of the NWCA All Star Classic results. We also cover Gable Steveson coming back as well. Enjoy!
This week Tommy and Kevin revisit the excitement that was the first week of college wrestling. We start the same way the college wrestling season did, with Wyoming and Campbell. We talk through Virginia's dominant win over NDSU, and some of the action from the Clarion open. This is going to be an awesome season! Get ready for next week in East Lansing at the MSU Open!
This week we talk through the recent events from non Olympic weight world championships and some conspiracy theories about blackouts and "random" draws. We also preview some of the upcoming action including Wyoming v Campbell, and some of the action from this weekend! It's wrestling season baby!!! Rock ON!!!
This week Tommy and I discuss some of the All Star matchup announcements, and the addition of Yonger Bastida in place of Greg Kerkvliet. We also talk through some of the Nebraska lineup changes, as well as the Campbell situation. Help these programs where you can, because this won't be the last wrestling program affected.
This week Tommy and Kevin talk through the goings on in the wrestling world. We talk through the potential David Taylor v Sadulaev mathup at 92kgs, we talk through some NCAA rankings, some schedule fun, and Grand Valley Women's Wrestling taking on Iowa in Iowa City. Then we wrap it up with a fun parent corner.
This week we were joined by Steve Garland, Head Coach at the University of Virginia Wrestling team. He talks about his career, and how awesome it is coaching at his alma mater. We also talk through his experience wrestling in the NCAA finals, and sharing those experiences with his wrestlers. We also talk through last season, expectations for this season, and about his coaches. We talk referee preparation for the season as well, and close with a parent corner.
This week we have the honor of speaking with Olympic Gold Medalist - Brandon Slay. We talk through his competition career, his experiences as Executive Director and Head Coach of Penn RTC, as well as his athletes. We also talk through some of the rule changes over the years for freestyle wrestling, NIL and RTC implications, Burroughs return, and practice preparation. Coach Slay gave us a ton of time and energy this week, so enjoy!
This week Tommy and Kevin talk about the retirement of one of the greats, Alex Dieringer. We also talk through the results of the Non-Olympic weight trials, and some of the grounding rules, as well as the results. We also talk about some of the movement recently, and finish with a parent corner.
This week we are joined by Rob Sulaver! Rob wrestled at Michigan and now is a strength and conditioning coach and expert through bandanatraining.com. Rob shares his story with us regarding his competition years for the Wolverines, as well as getting his business going, and we talk some exercise philosophy. We also talk the non-Olympic weight class trials coming up this weekend and we give our predictions. Rock on!

We also are joined by Izzak Olejnik of NIU and Oklahoma State. He talks with us about his career, big matches, the recent additions to OK State, and his plans for the future.
