In 4th grade, Ava Hacker found herself drawn to the new kid in the class - from Egypt no less. From that point on Ava knew the world was a big playground for her to explore. Since then she has lived in she lived in 4 different countries. At the age of 56, she joined the Peace Corps and lived in Belize, a small country of diverse language and cultures. She now knows she can do anything. Anything. And we believe her.

Since then, she has lived and taught in Morocco for a year. She doesn't believe in waiting for a rainy day.

At the age of 50 and a single woman, she felt compelled to adopt a daughter from Chile and then at 60 adopted her daughter from Russia. She has plenty to say and we need to listen.
