A powerful and informational discussion about synchronizing the heart and mind as we strive to become more visible, whole and healthy.
Notes:
- Eleni and Phoebe discuss their experiences around visibility. A lot of ground is covered, including what is inspiring them to be visible, the challenges that have come up, and the ways they’re working with these challenges.
- When Phoebe first joined Toastmasters some helpful feedback was that she appeared angry giving a speech. She realized that it was displaced anger to keep people at bay since she felt vulnerable public speaking.
- Noticing how we’re reacting to others’ body language and tone of voice may help us get more comfortable becoming visible.
- If we show up as our whole self we’ll be in right relationship.
- How do we step out of the mind and into the heart when we’re in front of an audience? Better yet, how do we synchronize the mind with the heart?
- Phoebe shares her take on how being heart centered isn’t the same as feeling emotional. For example, when she’s feeling defensive, she knows she’s in her emotions and not her heart.
- There can appear to be a fine line between genius and mental health issues. When we diagnose or label too quickly we miss that people may be tuning into a higher dimension.
- Through self awareness and integration of our worldly and other worldly experiences we’ll begin to experience ourselves as whole.
