In this week's episode I open up about a part of my journey that I've never shared publicly before. I speak about the burden women carry from the loss of a pregnancy or the feeling that they cannot have children. There are so many wombs that are crying but we can't hear or see them. Many are suffering with a smile on their faces because there is a fear of being seen as inadequate or incapable of performing our "womanly duties". If you can relate to this pain, you are not alone. Everyone's journey is different but it doesn't make your calling any less important. If you cannot relate, please be mindful of what you say. You don't need to know someone's story to be kind.
If you are a single mom struggling through this chaotic life, while having to make the best decisions for your children; this is for you. As a single mother myself, I know just how hard it is to be healing & growing while simultaneously protecting our children in hopes of saving them from reliving these life cycles. Society constantly blames single mothers for making bad choices in men while not understanding the burdens we already carry whether we admit them or not. This is a reminder that you are doing the best you can with what you have. No one gave you a manual to do this parenting thing... especially to be doing it alone. I send love to you and your beautiful womb fruits. Trust that even though you might feel lost right now, it does get better.
There is absolutely nothing wrong with setting standards for yourself & having high expectations. It's almost like we are domesticated to believe that asking more of others is a bad thing. If you think you deserve better, ask for it. A person who loves and values you will adjust as needed to make you happy. Please be reminded that what you choose to tolerate is exactly what you deserve. If you are reading this then I want you to know that you no longer need to shrink your being to fit into spaces you don't belong. Let this be a reminder that you are deserving of the love your spirit desires.
I want you to understand that it's okay to be soft & feminine. There is no need for you to force yourself against your natural flow to be "independent". There's nothing cool or attractive about hyper-independence. That is trauma. Happy is the woman who has her own but even happier is she who has hers but is feminine enough to let a man lead and accept help with grace. Being independent is overwhelming queens. You don't have anything to prove. And also, stop letting these men manipulate you so they can offer you the bare minimum! I deserve a soft life and so I welcome that. I wish the very same for you. I send you love on your journey to self.
I'm at a place in my life where the most important thing for me to do is find a healthy balance. I'm on a journey which will take me into new territories. There are days when I feel excited but if I must be honest, some days I'm overwhelmed. I choose to remain grounded as much as possible & stay still so I can attract what feels natural to my soul. I'm not sure if you can relate but if you can, I send you love and vibrations of clarity as you find your north & strike that balance.
This was probably one of the hardest episodes for me to record. I am still working through grief while embracing the lessons this journey has taught me. I promised to be vulnerable and open in this space & so while this was hard, it was necessary. I pray that whatever part of this story resonates with you, it will be received at the right time & the right season. #healing #grief #pain #marriage
We owe it to ourselves to let go of the hurt, the bitterness, the anger, the betrayal, the disappointment and whatever it is that hinders you from attracting the life and the experiences that you deserve. We have no control over what happens to us but we do have a personal responsibility not to hold on to the negative so tightly that it keeps us prisoners. Send it love as it fades away.
A continuation to last week's episode. I send you love as you continue to heal.
