It has been hot outside!  The first 90 degree days have come upon us, but does that mean planting season is over?  We say NO!  Len and Julio will explain why planting season never ends and why you shouldn't let a little heat scare you away.

In our second segment, we discuss one of our favorite flowers, Daylilies.  There are so many colors, flower styles, and everblooming varieties plus they are so easy to care for that Daylilies should be a part of everyone's landscapes!

Hummingbirds are fun and whimsical visitors to our gardens.  In our third segment, we'll tell you what to plant to entice them to your home.

Then wrapping up the show we go to the Bloomers In The Garden Hotline where we field questions about how long you can save seeds and what the numbers on fertilizer bags actually mean!

Remember those dreaded Spotted Lantern Flies?  They will be back soon and Len and Julio have some timely tips on how to treat them before you start seeing them.

Kicking off today's episode, we're going to show how you can create truly unique combo pots.  In our first segment, we talk about Hangly Dangleys like ivies and vines to place around the edges and will grow out and hang down from your pot.  In our second segment, we'll talk about building height with accent plants in the center of your pot with plants like daylillies, caladium, and some other unique plants.

In our third segment, with the weather warming and frost free date approaching, it's time to start prepping your vegetable garden and we've got all the tips to make this year your best vegetable garden ever!

Wrapping up the show we go to the Bloomers in the Garden Hotline where one listener gave us questions on his Houseplant and about growing Blueberries.  And a second listener had concerns with a large female Gingko tree.

In our second segment we'll tell you why it's not too late to put down a Crabgrass Control, but you have to make sure you're using the right kind!  Then in our third segment we've got some great tips for those of you looking to plant or expand your Perennial Garden.
