Hello mga ka-BIFFs (Blooming in Faith Friends)! Welcome back to season 2 of our weekly chika-reflect time!

Kaya naman in this Episode 1 of Season 2, we'll going to read a letter from our ka-BIFF! We'll talk about her reflection and question as well with regards to Emotions and How to Handle it! In this episode we go practical in handling emotions! Kaya tara na girls, we miss you! Umpisahan na natin ang chika/reflect today on BIF :)

There's so much to talk about about her! Of course for us Catholics, we know that September is our Mama's Month, and it's impossible for a Woman-Christian-Themed-Podcast not to have a whole episode dedicated to the perfect disciple of Jesus, a woman, and a mom (comm'n if it's not woman empowerment I don't know what  is): Mama Mary

This week, we talked about some of the "truths" on our devotion to Mary (ano ba yung totoo talaga), and how having her as our personal intercessor and mother, helped us in our walk with Jesus. We also gushed about the qualities of Mama Mary why she was given the highest honor for a Saint!

In continuation to our topic last week about Choosing your Friends, let's face it, we all have those people in our lives whom we love, but just ask too much of us. Establishing boundaries in relationships can be hard, but it is necessary. Yes we are Catholics and we have boundaries too! Even Jesus did it when he spend time with just his disciples, or just his apostles, or just  Peter, James and John; or even just with his Father in heaven. 

In this episode we talked about the importance of establishing boundaries, and the first things first in setting boundaries. We also talked about how having healthy boundaries help us more effectively live, love, and serve other people and even help those boundaries apply :)

Sino si Susanna? (Na katukayo ng nanay ni Patricia) 

This month, we reflected on the story of Susanna that is mentioned in the Book of Daniels Chapter 13.

So listen in and together let's reflect  on the life of Susana and How following God's will, not only make us righteous for righteous' sake, but put on display our value as human beings, as a woman.

A few episodes ago, we talked about the importance of having a small group: your sisters and brothers in Christ, and how it is essential to have someone to walk this faith journey with you.

But how about having a friend, who already “finished the marathon and won the prize?” Kumbaga sa Olympics nag Gold na sila? Who this?!?

They are the Saints! Let’s talk about how having a patron Saints - a spiritual “barkada” is so helpful - and essential to holiness! Yes barkada! They are not just “influencers” they can be our personal friend and intercessors!
