Nehemiah -- When you remember Jesus, you will know progress in your Christian walk- he will enable you.

Proverbs -- The wise person grasps the dangers of life in this world, takes appropriate counter-measures, and finds a refuge of safety in Jesus Christ.

Nehemiah -- Live your life to the glory of God only because Jesus enables you.

Proverbs -- God's sovereignty in your life is mediated by Jesus Christ, whose perfect pursuit of virtue gives life to sinners.

Nehemiah -- As God's people, you are to be willing servants of God, seeking the blessing of the church.

Proverbs -- Wisdom requires you to live by faith, trusting God as your provider, avenger, and savior.

Nehemiah -- You are to commit yourself to God by obeying His commands, but this you will only do if you trust.

The resurrection of Jesus gives you certain hope even in the midst of great uncertainty.

Nehemiah - You are to continually confess your sins, but remember you are confessing to God, who is great and gracious, and in response to His grace, commit yourself to God.

Proverbs - Since there are many ways to be a fool, but only one way to be wise- seek the righteousness of the righteous king, who alone gives wisdom.
