Main Point- Unless you fear God you will not seek the good of others but selfishly seek to gain from them. But remember its only in Christ that you can walk in the fear God and so are generous to others.-1. Beware of the temptation to use others for gain v1-5-2. When you see injustice, you can't simply walk away v6-8-3. Since you are to walk in the fear of God, You are not only to react to injustice but actively seek to stop it v8-11-4. You are to see that doing the right thing will bring blessing but doing the wrong thing brings curse v12-13-5. Nehemiah's generosity and sacrifice points to the generosity and sacrifice of Christ who does more than motivate you but enables you to walk in the fear of God v14-19

Main Point- As Christ faced opposition so will you be opposed when you seek to build the kingdom. Your response should be to trust God despite the suffering and continue serving him.-1. You will at the very least be mocked and laughed at v1-3-2. Your response to opposition should be to pray to God v4-6-3. You will be opposed because of your Christian faith but remember that while God is sovereign you are also responsible V7-9-4. Remember God is great and fight your discouragement or it will grow v10-12-5. You are to support each other by reminding each other that God will fight for us v15-23

Main Point- You are not to shrink back but step up and serve God having faith in the hand of God. -1. You are to seize the opportunity that God gives you v1-3-2. You are to show respect to others so they are receptive to you v4-5-3. You are to remember God can give you more than you can imagine. V7-9-4. You need to face your problems v9-16-5. You are to inspire others to have faith in God v17-18-6. You are to be prepared to face the threat of opposition, knowing God will prosper you. V10, 19-20

Proverbs Series -- Make it your aim to become a wise, older person knowing that God promises that special honor to you through Jesus.

The worship of God is the central activity of the universe- come to worship recognizing its priority and power.

Main Point---Kingdom work is teamwork where each of you, -whoever you are, are to make your own contribution.---1. Kingdom work is to include everyone, even you--2. Kingdom work is not to be lonely work, you are to work as part - of a team.--3. You are to work under the direction of leadership-4. You are to encourage one another by showing your - appreciation-5. You are to look forward to a completed kingdom

Since God's plan for your life is comprehensive, you are free to commit all of your works to Him in faith.

Wisdom may promote success in life but its ultimate effect is to give you joy in Christ.

Main Point- In times of discouragement turn to God in prayer remembering who he is, a great and faithful God so you are stirred into action. -1. You are to have a concern for God's people v1-4-2. You are to keep your focus on God's greatness and faithfulness v5-6-3. You must humble yourself and seek forgiveness for your sin vv6-7-4. You are to be confident in the promises of God's word v8-10-5. Your prayers should lead you to action v11

Keep pursuing wisdom throughout your life, and you will grow in your love for God and others.
