Blow Jam

Vince is back and Blow Jam crew returns to York Productions to party with Nick. Newcomer rapper Stephanie Edson teaches us about ”Jelly-checkin’” and her transition from modelling to rapping.

Deal finally turns 30 years old and some old friends stop by to celebrate. Kevin LaBarr and “he-who-must-not-be-named” Phil Laskaris make their first appearance on the show, and The Wizard Polish Palomino, Rich Starzak returns to join the madness. Hilarity ensues! Soundbytes brought to you by Bennie Jackson… ask your doctor if Bennie Jackson is right for you… and Justin Wheaton who mixed the Glory Hole songs back in 2009. Jam: “Strong Feelings” recorded live by Vince Kelly.

The Blow Jammers head down to York Productions to talk shop with our old friend, Nick York. We hang out in his awesome recording studio and catch up. A heart-wrenching jam ensues to pay tribute to our lost comrade, Johnny Eyeballs on the first anniversary of his untimely passing. With Nick on the keys, Vince on the drums, and Ryan on guitar.

Proud to present Blow Jam’s first installment of Bennie Jackson Game Night. Bennie tells us crazy stories about naked people doing naked things downtown, his love of geocaching, and his exploits in social media. Ryan, Delia and Bennie then hunker down with a game of Fluxx, Monty Python style… literally.

The Wizard tells us some of his amazing life story http://www.thefamilyschooltruth.com/ He also brings a ‘mystery instrument’ for our enjoyment.. Justin Wheaton stops by to talk about music; past, present and future. Delia (guitar) Ryan (banjo) & Vince (djembe) get down with a short, acoustic trance-like jam at the end.

It’s our very first episode of Blow Jam, and we already started beef with Lil’ Wayne. Our guest, Dana Multer spits mad rhymes and shows his incredible talent for lyricism and meter. Vince Kelly gets gnarly on the beat machine. Dave Tarcha stops by and chats with us in our ‘Heavy News’ segment. Ryan and Delia can’t freestyle (they’re no Dan Harmon) but they set their guitars down and give it a try.
