Miranda Hassett, rector of St. Dunstan's Episcopal Church in Madison, WI, joins the Expressions team to talk about her unique perspective on changes in the larger church. Miranda has her doctorate in anthropology and shares the way she thinks about church and ritual and how we can adapt liturgies so they're accessible for people newer to the church.

 

Both Christina and Emily started churches from the ground up, and Jason created an alternative service at the American Baptist church where he pastors. In this episode the three hosts talk about the various strengths and challenges of each approach to doing something new, whether building something entirely new or adopting practices within an existing church framework.
