End of the week it is… And we slowly settle down in preparation for a sleep and another week ahead. Two things worth mentioning happened today, but first, let’s focus on video update. I have recorded it on my way to (in)famous Eany Water, just before the sunset, to calm my body and mind, with a companion of river noise and the ambience of the forest.

Saturday of weird obstacles and happenings it is. First I almost hit a bus on our way back from Letterkenny, and now Wordpress is acting and was unavailable for couple of minutes, which made me worry I won't be able to post the write up.

Finally a day where I don't need to worry about much for a moment. Also a day during the work week that is easier on me, albeit I'll have to cook the dinner today, so not totally free, but at least I was able to jump out and go foraging for a bit longer than bloody 30 minutes before sunset.

Title says it all. Although we had to sacrifice our booked holidays and flights to Portugal, in exchange for the emergency trip to Poland, we didn’t want to let go. We still wanted to plan some city break at least, so straight after coming back to Ireland we were discussing an option to find and book some retreat, before the end of year.

I decided to dictate this post on my phone as I walk through the forest and while my wife is doing her daily walk at Murvagh Beach. We both sneaked out for lunch walk together, but because I had reports of decent mushrooms in the area, the plan changed a bit. I decided to split and jump into the forest while she continues her walk on the beach on her own.

Tuesday, day that some people hate more than Monday. It's usually the dullest one in the week for me, albeit quite packed on the work related front. Today was no different, although I was able to sneak out after work and still get my fair share of foraging before the sunset (and after it), at Eany.

Yesterday I did a dumb thing. I learned a lot about myself and about chilli peppers. Without telling too much let me introduce the explainer video with a short clip from today's walk and cold water plunge, then second part clarifying what I went through and what are my thoughts about it.
