She shared her story of being a young 17-year old mother and turning her struggle into a passion that motivated her to write her very first children's book "Sometimes I live in the Sky." She shared her anxiety with creating a product and putting herself out there creatively. According to the Center for Disease Control 40% of men experience domestic violence at one point in their lives or another. While we understand that domestic violence against any person is unacceptable, men are the most under protected and under represented group of people in regard to this issue.

However, some people choose to imitate other cultures and ethnicities in an irreverent fashion. Today we discuss the issue of cultural/ethnic costumes and what it means to represent another culture tastefully.

What is your take on cultural/ethnic costumes?

Lets be honest for a second, we have all experienced anxiety at one point in time or another. Have you ever had your mom tell you "wait on the line I have to go grab another can a beans because they are 4 for $1 and I only have 3 cans?" She storms off, there is only 1 person ahead of you in line and everything begins to move in slow motion as your mind races through all the possibilities of how this could go wrong, and now you are going to get stuck with a line of people behind you cursing you out for holding up the line? YUP! that is anxiety!
