Out First Episode for the year touches on setting goals. 

 It is a new year and one of the things paramount with the period is goal setting. So many people are excited about the possibilities the year has in stock. Some people might think  “Goal setting is unspiritual because it shows a lack of trust. It’s not right to plan. Instead, people should wait for God to lead them.

Trying means you think you can solve it so you put all your efforts into that thing hoping that you can solve it.

Being able to hand over everything you say, do or think requires complete trust and total submission to God. It means that you believe with every ounce of your being that God can and will take care of your every need. And, when you trust him with that complete abandon, he will take action.

1 Peter 5:6 tells us to do. “Casting all your anxieties on him…” Throw your worries, doubts, fears, uneasiness and nervousness on the Lord. That’s right! Toss them all on him! And he will take care of it all. He will be the burden. He will do the work, and he will make a way.

This topic aims to have a conversation on how we understand the importance of trust, yet we find it so difficult and we keep trying

A lot of time as Christians, we want to keep going to the point where are not able to give our 100 per cent to what God has called us to be. We are called to follow God's example and on the 7th day, God rested.

This topic is aimed at exploring the journey of where we are at the moment. For a lot of people, at the point, they are in their lives people tend to ignore the journey they have been and where they have passed to get to where they are at.

Each life is a journey that takes us to places we either love, hate, or wish for something totally different. Too many people spend most of their lives comparing themselves to others and it is this comparison that can only serve to erode your own unique qualities and your inner fabric. Every person is special in this world and it is not a welcome attitude to ever suggest that you should not change yourself to become an exact copy of another person, nor should one attempt to believe or behave, or to own, or to acquire what everyone else has or appears to have.

When it comes to vulnerability, it is an area that a lot of us as Christians try to avoid. From when we were little, we have been taught to come to Church with our best Sunday outfit. Even if this is metaphorically speaking, this can mean to hide all your pain and cover it with fine clothes so that no one else will see it. Come as your best self and keep all the pain you feel back at home. This should not be seen in the church; it can’t even be seen. As a young child in the church, I could almost relate to Church as where I saw Jesus which means that I should always come to meet Jesus in my best outfit, never come as I am, never come the way I feel. Always come to Jesus with my Sunday Outfit.  

In our new episode, our guest Kehinde talks about what Vulnerability and Joy mean to us as Christians. We talked about Friendship and many more. 

Do not approach God the same way you approach people. Do you think God only needs you in your Sunday best? He wants you in your Sunday worst as well. He knows you are human, and his power can help you heal the pain, can help you overcome the situation.

Wow. Feels like yesterday when we said the first 'Welcome to the Blurry Lines Podcast', now we have recorded and published 10 episodes.
