On this episode, Hojung Rhee aka the @k0rean.empress comes on to share the story of discovering her sexuality and crash-landing into Korea's unique queer scene. As a bisexual who has dated both men and women, Hojung's opinions about gender roles and feminism in the' Land of the Morning Calm' are just as insightful as they are entertaining. Also, as a content creator and aspiring creative director, she also offers her two-cents on the latest fashion and pop-culture from Jersey to Seoul.

In this episode, we invite Grace Noh to share her experiences working as an art therapist in both New York City and Seoul. Having worked with clients from underprivileged neighborhoods of New York City to children of North Korean refugees in Seoul, Grace stresses the importance of contextualizing each clients' unique socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds for each therapy session. She also dispels the common misconceptions of art therapy, and how the practice differs in America and Korea.

On this episode of zzZani? we bring on Joy, the single AF poster child of Third-Culture Kids. Aside from a brief chat about confusing cultural identities, she lets us in on her insecurities and reluctance of getting into a serious relationship, and the time she found herself in a classic one-sided-romance situation. Having spent most of her life in Hong Kong, Lena searched for love in the wild wild east of Korean Tinder upon moving back to her motherland. So fellas--listen up as Lena gives her two cents on the 'dos' and 'don'ts' of Tinder profile curation! She then talks about the heartbreak of her life; starring Horace (short for horse face) who was just the worst guy ever. But fret not! Lena's story comes full circle for a happily ever after in true Tinderella fashion.

On this episode, we invite Tucson-based photographer, Justin Haugen (@justin_haugen_photography), to chat about the changing landscape of photography. Cameras have never been so prevalent, portable, or as powerful as they are today. Now, even the smallest smartphone cameras are capable of challenging the big, professional camera rigs. This development in technology has undoubtedly changed how photographs are taken and by whom. While professional photographers still capture widely circulated images, a lot of the most viral photographs are now taken by influencers with powerful smartphone cameras and large followings. We also dive into other fun tangents such as Justin's experience of returning to his motherland, Korea, and how he met Hushmama on one wild night out in Itaewon!

There's no inner 'drive' for him to go out and date someone, but society keeps telling him that this isn't normal. Why should he feel weird about being single when he's fine with it? The subject of Korea's mandatory military service for male citizens is a contentious one. While some see it as complete waste of time, others see it is an important experience to foster 'discipline,' 'patriotism,' and 'masculine maturity.' On this episode, we invite our friend Mike (@_adaacid_) to weigh in on his own personal experiences with conscription, his views on this so called "duty of national defense," and how he tried to find alternative methods of serving his country. Mike also details his encounter with other overseas Koreans facing the issue of conscription and what it means to be a conscientious objector.
