Nate Hryn is twenty years old and a student at Mount Aloysius College. He has a growing clothing company (that has been sold in over 30 states!) with a mission. 

The clothing line is eco-friendly. Even the tags on the clothes! You can use it to plant a flower.

Portage Area Summerfest is this weekend, August 11-13th at Crichton-McCormick Park.

The event features a host of bands. craft shows, car shows, a kid area and more.

PA Woods and Forests is an Outreach and Citizen Science non-profit organization that focuses on the conservation of many different plants and animals. The focus is frogs, toads, carnivorous plants, many invertebrates, lizards, and snakes.

A PA-based charity, they have taken their messages worldwide with their youtube channel and social media. 

This week is FROG WEEK!

Canine Companions provides service dogs to adults, children and veterans with disabilities and facility dogs to professionals working in healthcare, criminal justice and education.

Founded in 1975, the organization has chapter throughout the country including Western Pennsylvania.

The 17th annual AmeriServ Free Summer Concert Series always feature a fun mix of music from acts all around the area.

The concerts are all summer long at the Roxbury Bandshell.

This Sunday, The Moore Brothers Band (with our own Bo Moore as a member) and Inside Out will take the stage.
