We’re excited to invite you to our annual 21 Days of Prayer, Fasting, and Consecration. As we enter this new year, let’s join millions around the globe in drawing near to God, resetting our souls, and experiencing His renewing presence from the inside out.
January is a time to intentionally hit the reset button—seeking God’s guidance, power, and fresh vision for the year ahead.
We encourage you not only to commit to prayer but also to consider fasting as part of your spiritual journey. Fasting helps us celebrate God’s goodness and mercy while preparing our hearts for all the good things he desires to bring into our lives.
If you’re unsure how to begin, here are four basic types of fasts to prayerfully consider:
• Complete Fast: The most traditional, where you drink only liquids—typically water, with light juices or broths if needed.
• Selective Fast: Remove specific elements, like in the Daniel Fast, where you avoid meat, sweets, and bread, focusing on water, juice, broths, fruits, and vegetables.
• Partial Fast: Abstain from food for part of the day, such as 6:00 am to 3:00 pm, sunup to sundown, or from one dinner to the next.
• Soul Fast: Step away from distractions like social media, television, or news to refocus areas of your life.
Friend, I am so excited for you. My faith is sky high that this will be a Mount Rushmore year for you—one of your four best. I am preparing and praying daily for you during these times of consecration, so lift your head. The Lord is for you, and He is praying for you—and so am I. Let’s believe together for God’s very best.
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, as we begin these 21 Days of Prayer and Fasting, we commit, we dedicate, and we consecrate our lives and this year to you.
Refresh and renew us from the inside out. Show us the fast you desire, and prepare our hearts for your goodness and mercy.
We trust you for great things ahead. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
