Wesley Wilcox, Marion County Supervisor of Elections addressed the misprinting of a zip code on voter ID cards sent to many county residents. The voting information mailer was sent over the July 4th weekend. The error on a voting card listed a zip code of 86503. Nearly 180,000 incorrectly printed cards were sent, while over 90,000 were printed correctly. No information related to the vote was printed incorrectly, and the misprints have no impact on voting. The printer has been used regularly with no issues, and absorbed the cost of reprinting at no cost to taxpayers.
