Part of our human nature when we set a goal is to "hurry up and get there."
While there's nothing wrong with taking quick, decisive action, we also have to recognize the seasons of life when we need to slow down. On purpose.
This doesn't mean we aren't still moving toward our goal; it simply means we're giving our brain, body, and nervous system time to reset.
Part of the challenge is trusting you'll reach your goal no matter what, and finding peace and sufficiency with where you are now.
The great irony is that's when change happens faster.

Most people will have the best of intentions when trying to give you advice to solve your binge eating habit... but it's not always helpful.
Binge eating is NOT a food problem, so it can't be a food solution.
Binge eating is an under-feeling problem (an emotional problem), so the solution has to be emotionally based.
Just taking away the food or changing the food isn't going to sovle this habit.

You might have some people in your life who tear you down. Who make condescending comments, who scoff and roll their eyes at you, who discourage you from pursuing your goals.
People like to tear down others who are doing amazing things; things they’re too scared to do themselves.
Don’t let it stop you.

I don’t know about you, but I’m the type of person who typically thinks, “I can make this work.”
And while this kind of grit and determination can be a good thing in many ways, it can also keep us stuck chasing things that aren’t working.
This can happen with everything, from weight loss plans, to budgeting, to applying for new jobs, or trying a new dating approach.
We are always trying on different plans like different pairs of jeans to see what works for us and our lifestyle.
But that means there’s going to come a point where we have to break out of denial and get honest when things aren’t working.
