BodyBag Podcast

We go back to where it all started for us, as we take another look at the Fear Street Trilogy. If you been a fan since the beginning, then you know we started with Fear Street and it is time to see if we still feel the same way about it.

Shhhhhh! Nobody make a sound. "They're under the ground!" After years of neglect, Dave and Chris finally pay tribute to the underrated classic that is Tremors and the unsung hero that is Burt Gummer. But only after they've done their homework and discussed their movie assignments; Lake Mungo and Gonjiam Haunted Asylum.

It is time for another battle, listen and see what movie wins, will it be A Quiet Place or 28 Weeks Later.

In this haunting episode of Bodybag Podcast, Dave and Chris invited Julie Failde, author of "Where did the Wind Go" and "Crow Lord" to talk about Insidious 2. In addition to talking about Julie's inspiration for her books, they also somehow manage to slip in discussions about the Jackie Chan's animated show, Jimmy Neutron, and Lake Mungo. Thank you very much to Julie for coming on the Show for this lengthier installment of Bodybag.

Let's all go back to the nostalgic summer of the 80's with this 2018 gem of a movie, so sit back and enjoy.

Whatever you do, don't go into room 1408....Chris and Dave are recording episode 3 of BodyBag Podcast in there. It is the season of Bodybag personal favorites. Sure, we could have talked about the Shining or Misery or any of the dozens of Stephen King adaptations, but why do that when 1408 is sitting right there, going crazy in the corner. After we break down that little hidden gem, we get a little deep with our first topic talk of the season: How much can you separate a troublesome director or actor with a genuinely good film?

What is better Santa violently killing people or a girl stuck in a time loop where she constantly gets killed on her birthday, well we answer that for you on our first versus episode of the season.

The hiatus is over and we're off to France to talk to Tik Tok content creator, Mini K. She let us know what life is like as person from India living in France. So, it's West meets East meets West again. Then we delve into one of the goriest franchises out there with Evil Dead Rise. Apologies in advance for Chris's audio. Apparently, the moron forgot to plug his podcast microphone in. So, what you hear is his laptop microphone. Thank you so much to Mini K for coming on the show. You were an absolute delight.

Another season has come and gone, once again we would like to thank everyone for listening! On this week's episode we are creating a box office bomb, we spun the wheel and had to create a self-funded prequel. Hope you enjoy!

This week we are discussing our top movies based on books, with one stipulation, only one movie per author to prevent this list being full of Stephen King movies. Listen then let us know if you agree or what are your favorite movies based on books.
