The Super Bowl matchup is set, which means it's time for Patrick and me to discuss how we got to the point where the Seahawks and Patriots are playing for the NFL title. Plus, we have another inductee coming to the STFU Club, and it's someone who probably should have been in a while ago (haha). Afterwards, we continue our discussion about recyclable coaches, and ask if it's time for the Bucks and Giannis Antetokounmpo to part ways.
A new champion is crowned in college football, and it's time for us to give Indiana the credit they deserve. We also discuss what the Hoosiers' win can mean for the future of the sport. Afterwards, we bring back one of our favorite games to talk about fallouts for the losers from the NFL Divisional Playoffs, and preview Championship Sunday. Time permitting, we may dive into the Warriors losing forward Jimmy Butler to a season-ending knee injury.
We're going up on a Thursday this week, and finally, the College Football Playoff National Championship Game is here. Patrick and I will pick our winner, and we'll do the same for the NFL Divisional Playoffs. We also discuss why it's a different year, but the same excuses for Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert, and which teams need hard resets that won't be fixed with just a new coach.
It's back to it after the holiday break, and we return to discuss happenings in the College Football Playoff. Plus, we'll preview the games coming up in the wild card round of the NFL playoffs, and discuss the amount of coaching vacancies in the league. Finally, we'll close with comments made by Rockets forward Kevin Durant after hitting a game-winning shot to beat the Suns.
Before the Christmas break, Patrick and I review and preview action from the College Football Playoff and the NFL. Specifically, we discuss comments made about Tulane and James Madison (before and after their exits from the CFP), the improving play from Bears quarterback Caleb Williams, the latest incident involving fans in Detroit, and the NBA's effort to combat tanking.
The College Football Playoff begins Friday, and it's time for Patrick and me to pick winners and scores for the first round. We also dive into how Michigan's firing of head coach Sherrone Moore (who apparently has bigger issues to deal with) may point to a toxic culture. In the NFL, we discuss the rough week on the injury front, and the return of Philip Rivers to the Colts.
It seems like we always discuss why the College Football Playoff committee is nonsensical, but the point where it's time to get rid of this board might be here. We discuss whether or not this is the case. Plus, we look at how a promising season is shattering before our eyes for the Colts, and the chances the Thunder become historically good this NBA season.
Patrick and I return form the Thanksgiving break to explain why Lane Kiffin leaving Ole Miss for LSU should surprise absolutely nobody. We also discuss how much trouble the Chiefs look like they're in, and why the Ravens have turned into a stale squad overnight.
As Thanksgiving approaches, we discuss what we're thankful for (sports and personally). We also get into Ole Miss potentially entering a unique situation with Lane Kiffin's pending decision, and why Shedeur Sanders remains a hot-button topic (trying to understand the reasoning).
Along with our weekly review and preview of college and NFL action, we explore the fallout from Georgia's beatdown of Texas "between the hedges." We also salute Oklahoma for earning crucial road wins in the SEC, and ask what's up with the rash of spitting incidents in the NFL. Time permitting, other topics may come up.
