Sam & Grant are back to talk about a few smaller topics, with there not being too many big topics to talk about!

They start with the ESPN article that gives the ceilings and floors for all 18 #B1G teams.

Purdue comes in a little lower than the guys think they should, and they break down their thoughts. They also go over some of the other teams and where they come in the prognostication.

After that, they will talk a little about Oscar Cluff getting a pro contract, and also about thoughts on how Purdue is starting on a trajectory that could mean GREAT things for the Boilermaker faithful!

Sam & Grant, the All-American, are here to discuss a couple of topics!

First, some players are recently available due to a court decision, and one has been linked to the Boilermakers!

Cameron Fens, from South Dakota, is a big man who Purdue has shown interest in. He entered the portal after his 4th season, and when the injunction was put in place he is free to transfer!

So, how would he fit with Purdue? Do they have room for him? What are the chances he's in old gold and black next year?

Then, the guys talk about another hypothetical that was talked about earlier this week... Braden Smith announced he would not be coming back to Purdue for a 5th year.

Since he hasn't signed a pro contract and didn't enter the portal after last season, he would HAVE to come back to West Lafayette. The guys talk about what a return would mean, and how the team dynamic would be affected if he had considered a comeback.

It's a good conversation!

They wrap it up with a conversation about a top-100 recruit receiving an offer this week!

The Boilermakers made the trip to the Great White North and played 4 games near Vancouver, Canada, and walked out with 4 pretty dominant wins over area teams!

Who was impressive during the trip?

Were there reactions that need to be pulled back because these were only exhibitions in July?

How about some things they saw that might turn into something good at the start of the season?

They will talk about some potential scenarios for certain players to be starters, as well as whether they agree with some statements about a player's potential, even beyond this year!

Sam & Grant, the All-American, are reacting to the recent open practice in West Lafayette before the Boilers head to Canada for their games near Vancouver!

Who stood out? Who might make it difficult to come up with a starting lineup? Are there players who could have standout seasons? Are there players who might need more time?

Also, Enzo Shahrvin started practicing... how did he look? What will he be able to provide Purdue once his eligibility is cleared?

They will then recap the four Boilers who participated in the NBA Summer League. How did each look, and do the guys think any of the four will make an NBA roster?

After that, they will discuss who might be able to add to the amazing list of All-B1G 1st Teamers that Purdue's put together.

10 of the last 11 seasons, Purdue has had at least one; could this be a year that doesn't happen?

Who are the guys' "front-runner" to add to the list?

Is there a possibility they get two?

What does it take to be a first-team All-B1G player, and how big of a jump do any of the players need to do it?

Sam & Grant, the All-American, have returned from their hiatus! They are also joined by Dustin Schutte for their return!

Coach Painter and the Boilermakers landed yet another highly touted recruit for the 2027 season! Joining Isaiah Hill (Indianapolis, Indiana) will be PG Kevin Savage, out of Marietta, Georgia!

Conversation gets deep when they talk about their thoughts on whether the potential for three point guards on the team will cause issues, or if the coaching staff could make it work if Omer Mayer, Luke Ertle, and Savage are all in West Lafayette to start the 2027 season.

After that. the guys get DEEP! It's time for them to pick their All-Time Boilermaker starting five! There are so many choices! So many, they may make a whole 10-man roster with some "honorable mentions!"

The conversations are going to be good, and it's great to have the show going again!

Summer practices have started! What are some things people are taking away from the first few workouts?

Are there any players who have stood out early, who have made waves, and could show more as they progress through the summer?

Coach Painter was asked about the NCAA's 5-for-5 eligibility rule that's been proposed. He talked about how the rule, if it is passed, could affect Purdue and schools like it.

Finally, there are future recruits who have included Purdue on their list, and one in particular visited West Lafayette recently, and could be a valuable piece in the next couple of years!

After that, they cover the "Top 10 Recruits in Purdue History." Our buddy Dustin Schutte wrote about the list, and the guys will talk about how things have changed in West Lafayette in the Matt Painter era!

The Boilermakers have a scheduled exhibition game! Purdue will go to Connecticut to take on the UCONN Huskies on October 27th! Again, Coach Painter shows he wants to play good teams in enemy territory.

What do the gents think about the matchup? They talk about the maturation of players through this process.

After that, they will talk about various players and some questions about the offseason. What players will have the opportunity to make big leaps?

They talk about Antione West Jr. and what he could show this season. Is he ready to take control of this lineup?

Gicarri Harris comes into his junior year with an opportunity. Is HE ready to take a starting spot and show that he's one of the best on the team?

They've discussed it already, but how will the point guard position shake out?

Isaiah Hill announced his commitment to the Boilermakers last week, and the guys will chat about what this means for the program as we advance!

They will also discuss the coaching staff's recruiting AFTER this year, and how we're now in a different world of filling a roster.
