I sat down with Allison at her Charlestown, MA salon where we chat about how life is looking and feeling for her at this stage in her life! A mother of two, Charlestown is actually Allison's home town so it makes it that much sweeter for her to have this space in a place she grew up and continues to help grow.

She recently transformed the adjacent space thats been used for a variety of things over the years to a boutique, Haute 44 and it's already flourishing!

We talk about Allison's path, which she says she saw only in one direction, the beauty industry. She says she listens to her clients as to what to offer at both the salon and boutique.

Jennifer has spent the past 30 years in the fashion industry in many different roles.

On this episode we dive into her career, support from her husband and her goal to create joy through fashion!

In 2017 she came up with the idea of the "capsule"...a line of clothes that can actually be used in a variety of ways to create a month's worth of outfits!

Healthcare expert Lilly Stairs created this professional networking group for ambitious business women living with chronic conditions while prioritizing their health.

Chronic Boss Collective is the only professional networking collective for women with chronic conditions, and is launching the first local chapter in Boston MA, with online access available to women around the world.

This is not a support group- those already exist and serve their purpose, but this is a never-before-seen professional networking Collective focused on elevating and amplifying women's ambitions.

Nearly 60% of adults have at least one chronic disease, and about 50 million Americans live specifically with an autoimmune disease– 80% of them being women! Additionally, people often don't think of conditions related to mental health and ADHD as chronic conditions, but they are. These women usually are forced to go through the day to day at work or running their businesses without any true acknowledgment of what they're navigating. But not anymore. The Chronic Boss Collective is the first of its kind Collective specifically aimed to create space for these women.

It officially launches on Tuesday, October 24th, for people to sign up and join, with limited spots at first, and programming begins in January 2024. Local chapters are expected to open across the country after the initial one in Boston, in addition to the online programming available worldwide.

Tracy worked in the homecare setting with clients with complicated issues for 20 years helping thousands get RESULTS! An expert in translating complicated messages into easy-to-understand language, she helps you create achievable goals.

On this episode we talk about the importance of reading nutrition labels. Tracy helps people with this along with discussing food trends, sharing cooking and snacking tips and explaining fad diets. She has worked with clients with diabetes, high blood pressure/cholesterol or heart disease, struggles with eating (e.g. emotional eating) and more, to get RESULTS.

Books have always played a big role in Christina's life.

She worked in corporate marketing for 10 years. After being laid off in 2019 she decided to follow her passion, her dream of opening a book store. It started with pop ups and selling out of her 2nd bedroom.

Christina signed the lease for her new space in Somerville in early 2020, moving in a couple months later at the same time the Pandemic hit! That didn't stop her from being able to get started with curbside delivery until she could officially open the doors. And when she did, it was just her for a long time!

Today she's got a staff and a fierce community that follows her Queer/Feminist Book Store.

She's currently facing another challenge, rising rent costs but again is not letting it stop her. She's been able to find a new location and with the help of her staff and community are able to move it along! New location is opening in October!

Laura is a certified fertility coach, trained to assist and guide women through infertility and medical treatments with a specialty in IVF and Donor Conception.

In addition to her professional training, she's a mother of two children conceived through infertility treatment, including her own donor conception journey. While trying to get pregnant, she was obsessed with researching fertility treatments, looking for stories to offer hope, and gathering as much information as she could to maintain a sense of control.

On this episode, Laura shares her story of navigating through the somewhat stressful and complicated process. And how the process offered her a new opportunity to become an expert in fertility health and be able to help other women realize their dreams of having a family.
