  • Ep 7: Your Desires Aren’t Wrong (& Your Boundaries Are HOT) with Kay Farah

    Send us Fan Mail

What if the parts of yourself you’ve been making wrong… actually aren’t wrong at all?

Today I’m sitting down with my business mentor, @KayFarah, IN MY TINY HOUSE (!!) for a conversation that goes so far beyond business.

I started working with Kay in December 2024 when I finally decided it was time to remove the Plan B and actually build the remote business I had been dreaming about for years. A year and a half later, I was full-time in my business- and Kay has been such a massive expander for me along the way.

But one of the things I’ve loved most about working with Kay is that the work has never just been about making money or building a business. It’s also been about becoming more of YOU.

    Knowing what you want.
    Following your desires.
    Meeting your edges.
    Communicating your needs.
    Setting boundaries.
And letting yourself fuck around and find out instead of needing to know exactly where everything is going.

In this episode, Kay shares her own evolution—from traveling the world for seven years, to making $15/hour as a virtual assistant, to building her own business and eventually creating The Wealthy Turned On Woman.

We also get into the much juicier stuff: shame, sexuality, self-expression, people pleasing, dating, boundaries, and the parts of ourselves we sometimes hide because we’ve decided they’re “wrong.”

Kay shares how she went from being someone who struggled to communicate what she needed to becoming a woman who is deeply rooted in her desires, boundaries, and self-expression—and how that has changed the way she moves through business, relationships, friendships, and life.

This conversation is really an invitation to get curious about the parts of YOU that you’ve been making wrong.

    Because your desires aren’t wrong.

& Your boundaries are fucking HOT.

And there might be a whole lot more freedom waiting for you on the other side of letting yourself fuck around and find out.

  • Ep 6: The Business That Failed (And Why I’m Grateful It Did)

    Send us Fan Mail

There’s a part of my business journey that I’ve basically kept locked in a closet for the last few years.

I’ve carried a lot of shame around the fact that it didn’t work.

A few years ago, I became a certified life coach and started signing my first clients. Things were actually moving faster than I expected -and as people in my life coaching program saw me signing clients, they started coming to me asking, “Wait…how are you doing this?”

And because people were asking me for help with it, I thought, Oh shit. Maybe there’s something here.

    So I followed it.

I started helping new coaches with their businesses. I hosted niching workshops. I created the Side Coaching Biz Academy. I invested a LOT of money into mentorship. And I went all in on a direction that, ultimately, never got off the ground.

For a long time, I looked at that season as a massive failure.

And now, four years later, as I step into a new chapter of my business and deeper into mentorship again, I’ve had to look directly at the story I’ve been carrying about that version of me.

Because the truth is…I’m actually really grateful it happened.

I had to get into the arena. I had to try shit on. I had to experience building a business that wasn’t actually true to me to learn how to build one that was.

In this episode, I’m bringing that season out of the closet and talking about what actually happened, what Human Design helped me understand about the way I was operating at the time, and why I’m no longer letting something that “failed” four years ago determine what I’m willing to create now.

Because sometimes you have to fuck around and find out.

You have to try the thing. You have to get it “wrong.” You have to collect the data and figure out what actually works for YOU.

There are no errors. It’s all data.

And maybe the thing you’ve been calling a failure was actually part of how you got here.

  • Ep 5: From Side Hustle to Full-Time Entrepreneur: How I Left My Job + What Happened Next

    Send us Fan Mail

Three months ago, I left my job and went all in on my business.

And this episode is really me pulling back the curtain on both sides of that decision - what I did to actually set my business up so I felt like I could leave, and what the last three months have really looked like since.

Because this was not me just jumping off a cliff and hoping for the best.

I had spent months building recurring revenue, working with long-term clients, creating systems, paying attention to my numbers, and looking at the actual data of what I had built.

There was a huge difference between having one big month and actually having a business I trusted.

And that trust mattered, because once I left, there were definitely some oh shit moments.

In this episode, I talk about what happened when I had to spend $1,000 on my car right after leaving my job, when a recurring client almost had to pause, when I turned down money because something no longer felt aligned, and how all of that forced me to deepen my trust in myself and in the business I had built.

I also talk about the other side of it - the spaciousness.

More time to cook. More time with friends. More creativity. More room to dream about what’s next. More time with my dog. More freedom to travel. And being able to go be with my family when I needed to without stressing about where my money was going to come from.

That has probably been one of the biggest gifts of all of this.

This season has been expansive, initiating, edgy, freeing, and honestly one of the biggest growth seasons of my life.

And if you are in that place where you’re building a business, bringing in clients, but still wondering how the hell you would ever make it consistent enough to actually leave your job and do this full-time, this episode is for you.

You do not have to have everything perfectly figured out.

But you do need something you can trust.

A business that is not starting at zero every month.
A way to bring in clients.
    Offers that actually make sense.
Systems and structure that can support you.
And enough evidence to know that what you are building is actually working.

  • Ep 4: The Conversation That Could Have Ended Our Friendship: Healing Sisterhood Wounds, Owning Our Triggers + Staying Fully Expressed with Nina Mcdonald

    Send us Fan Mail

What if getting triggered by someone isn’t always a sign that the relationship is wrong… but an invitation to go deeper?

In this episode, I’m joined by my dear friend Nina Mcdonald , and we’re sharing the initiating story of a moment between us that could have created a rupture in our friendship.

I got triggered by Nina’s full expression - and instead of making her wrong for what came up in me, I had to get really honest about the old wounds, comparison, and stories that were actually being activated. And when I brought it to Nina, it activated something in her too: a lifelong wound around being “too much” and feeling like she needed to dim herself so other women could feel comfortable.

What followed was days of honest conversation that ultimately brought us closer.

We talk about healing sisterhood wounds, owning our triggers instead of projecting them onto other people, navigating conflict with curiosity, and learning how to stay connected without asking either person to abandon or diminish themselves.

And because this is Boldly Alive, we also go way beyond friendship. We get into dance, embodiment, grief, heartbreak, pleasure, expression, and what it means to actually let yourself experience the full fucking range of being human.

Maybe being triggered doesn’t always have to create distance.

Maybe sometimes, when we’re willing to own what’s ours and stay in the conversation, it can become the doorway to a deeper relationship.

  • Ep 3: I Ignored My Intuition… Then I Ended Up Handcuffed in the Back of a Cop Car

    Send us Fan Mail

One year ago, I found myself handcuffed in the back of a cop car.

Today, I’m celebrating one year sober.

But my decision to stop drinking wasn’t really about alcohol being this huge problem in my life. The truth is, I had known for a while that drinking just wasn’t aligned for me anymore.

Even a couple of drinks would mess with my sleep, affect my energy, and leave me feeling like...why am I still choosing this when I know I don’t even really want it?

And alcohol wasn’t the only thing.

There were other choices I was making that I knew weren’t aligned with my values or the person I wanted to be. My intuition was telling me that pretty freaking clearly—and I wasn’t listening.

Then, just DAYS before I got arrested, I had one of the clearest intuitive hits I’ve ever experienced: if you keep doing what you’re doing, there are going to be consequences. And those consequences are going to be a DUI.

A few days later, I saw red and blue lights in my rearview mirror.

Eventually, I was sitting handcuffed in the back of a cop car thinking, Court...you knew.

That night became a turning point for me. I decided I was done drinking alcohol.

And now, one year into my sobriety journey, I can see that this experience was about SO much more than becoming alcohol-free.

It was about learning to listen to myself.

    Trusting my intuition.

Recognizing when something isn’t aligned with my values—and actually being willing to make a different choice.

In this episode of Boldly Alive, I’m sharing the story of why I stopped drinking, what my first year without alcohol has taught me, and the wake-up call that changed the way I think about intuition, alignment, and the choices we make every single day.

If you’ve ever had that feeling deep down that something in your life just isn’t right for you anymore, this episode is for you.

Because sometimes we already freaking know.

We just have to be willing to listen.

  • Ep 2: When Your Business Is Working, But You’re Ready for Your Next Evolution

    Send us Fan Mail

Okay, so what happens when your business is working… but you can feel yourself being pulled toward its next evolution?

That’s exactly where I’m at right now.

For the past few months, I’ve been working behind the scenes on what I thought were going to be two separate things: Bold Frequency and Boldly Alive. I bought the domains. I made the logos. I had the vision. I was READY.

And then two of my clients asked me a very simple question:

    “What do you really want?”

    And fuck. 😂

    I knew the answer immediately.

In this episode, I’m taking you behind the scenes of my decision to let go of Bold Frequency as a separate brand and put my energy into building Boldly Alive — even though the business I’ve already built is WORKING.

And I think that’s what makes evolution so freaking edgy sometimes.

It would almost be easier if something was going terribly wrong. But what happens when it makes money? When you’re good at it? When you’ve built a reputation around it? When you actually LIKE it… and you still know there’s another version of you and your work asking to come forward?

We’re talking about the grief that can come with evolution, trusting what you really want, allowing your work to change as YOU change, and being willing to move toward something before you know exactly how it’s all going to turn out.

Because sometimes you just have to fuck around and find out. 😂

If you’re feeling the pull toward your own next evolution right now, this one is for you.

And if your next evolution is in your business ; I want to help you bring it to life.

I’m opening space for 1:1 mentorship for the woman who knows she’s meant to build something of her own (or evolve what she’s already built) and wants support actually making it tangible.

This is for the woman who wants to get clear on her gifts + vision, create offers that actually feel like HER, build sustainable recurring revenue, and create a business that supports the life she wants to live — not one she has to build her entire life around.

We’re not just going to talk about the vision. We’re going to map it out, make it make sense, and actually freaking build it.

If you’re reading this thinking, “Okay wait… this might be me,” DM me “MENTORSHIP” on Instagram and let’s talk!!

  • EP 1: I Let Go of Everything, Embraced the Unknown, & My Life RADICALLY SHIFTED

    Send us Fan Mail

Two and a half years ago, was the last time I recorded an episode for Journey to Limitless Podcast.

At the time, life was asking me to let go of everything, fully immerse myself in a season of the unknown, and allow life to rock me to my core.

I didn’t understand why. I just intuitively knew it was what I needed to do.

And somewhere in all of that unknown, my life began to radically shift.

In the very first episode of Boldly Alive, I’m taking you behind the scenes of the last two and a half years-why I walked away from podcasting, what those seasons of unknown asked of me, and the journey that ultimately led me here.

We’re talking about letting go when you don’t know what’s on the other side, getting radically honest with yourself about what life is asking of you, finding the magic in the mess, and having the courage to take the bold leaps toward the life you actually desire.

Because sometimes, we have to be willing to let go of what we're holding so tightly to- to make space for what’s even more aligned.

TO LIVE BOLDLY ALIVE IS A DECLARATION.

It’s choosing every day to not sit on the sidelines of our own lives.

It’s having the courage to tell ourselves the truth, and then being bold enough to do something about it.

It’s saying yes to what expands you, no to what no longer aligns, and leaning into the edge, knowing there’s something for you on the other side.

It’s finding the magic in the mess, trusting that even the seasons that break us are shaping who we’re becoming.

    This is Boldly Alive.

    And we’re just getting started.

This podcast is in honor of Janelle Orsborn, who radically shifted my life.

    March 2, 1992 – February 16, 2026

Janelle was one of my greatest reminders of what it truly means to live boldly alive. Her impact on my life is woven into this podcast, this message, and so much of the life I’m living today.

This is for you, J <3

About BOLDLY ALIVE

From the publisher's feed

Boldly Alive is a podcast for the person who feels that quiet pull that there has to be more-  not necessarily more success, more money, or more achievement, but more…
