Today, Joseph Z explores how to overcome institutionalism, emphasizing the power we have in Christ Jesus to stand boldly against dark, evil institutions that seek to control and dominate the world.
Joseph highlights the pitfalls of institutionalism and how it threatens true revelations of God. He explains the origin of the Pharisees, showing how they allowed human rules and ideas to interfere with the pure word of the Lord, which initially had a solid foundation. In essence, they worshipped the law rather than the Creator, adding their ideas and interpretations, thereby institutionalizing the revelation.

Joseph instructs that it is time to rend our hearts, not our garments, because God is ready to dismantle the institutions within us that make His word ineffective in our lives. Interestingly, he emphasizes that we are not called to be nice as Christians simply, but to be good people who boldly stand against wickedness. He reminds us of God's word in Matthew 16:25, warning that whoever seeks to save their life will lose it, while whoever loses their life for His sake will find it. Thus, when we are willing to give up to increase our faith, we begin to experience the peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
Joseph further explains that knowing our identity in Christ Jesus empowers us to stand against every demonic influence and evil present in our culture. Christ has warned us that we will face troubles in this world, but He has urged us to take heart, for He has overcome the world. Additionally, the Book of 1 John 4:17 reminds us of the perfection of God's love in our lives: as He is, so are we in this world. He assures us that the same power that raised Christ Jesus from the dead dwells within us; therefore, we are called to rise up and confront the wicked culture by faith, for our faith is the power that can bring the world to its knees.
